RSK MiG - is the legendary company alive?
Recently, there is a perception that Sukhoi is all chocolate, but the MiG has already completely turned down. There is some truth in this, except that the situation has already changed.

According to the annual report of the MiG Russian Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation, in 2011, the revenue of RSK MiG from the sale of goods, products, works, services (minus value added tax, excise taxes and similar payments) exceeded 22,5 billion rubles. Net profit of RSK MiG 2011 amounted to more than 1,8 billion rubles. For example, a year earlier the company ended its operations with a loss in 1,6 billion rubles. The difference is evident.

The main share of revenue in the reporting period is related to the fulfillment of obligations under contracts with:

The MiG-29К / KUB aircraft were completed under the contract from 20.01.2004, the construction of the second-generation ship fighters was launched under the second contract with the Indian Navy);
MiG-29М / М2 fighters designed for Syrian air forces; MiG-29 B / SE fighters (in other parts of the RAC MiG report, the modification is indicated as MiG-29UB) manufactured for Myanmar air forces (2011 of 14 aircraft delivered in December for 29) (B under contract from 06.12.2009);
MiG-29CMT fighters manufactured for Bangladesh Air Force (!).

The following research and development work was carried out on the modernization:

MiG-29SMT fighters, which are in service with the Russian Air Force;
Fighters MiG-29B / UB, which is in service with the Indian Air Force, in the version of the MiG-29UPG / UPG UB.

After-sales service of previously supplied and supplied aircraft, including repairs, training for the flight and maintenance personnel of the customer, delivery of technical training equipment:

    and that’s not enough for them .... they don’t have to ruin the company, they have to give it a chance .... and I’m sure that the MiG will still surprise everyone

      Good news! I am convinced that the lightweight single-engine fighter we need in the future should be exactly the MiG, as well as strike UAVs!

          A single-engine light aircraft is a must! It is smaller (and therefore less noticeable), simpler, cheaper, including in operation and designed to perform other tasks. That is, you need a competitor Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II.

            F-35 Lightning II

            f-35 is single-engine because of the design features (placing 2 engines with rotary nozzles in a glider is more difficult and unreliable than one), and not because it is light (it is heavier than the Mig-29 with two engines) or because one engine gives some special advantages

        Where did you see that everything is all right on Mig ???? recourse

        Take your own official annual reports for 2011 of JSC Russian Aircraft Corporation MiG and JSC Nizhny Novgorod Aircraft Building Plant Sokol and for the production, repair and modernization of MiG aircraft and you will immediately understand everything for yourself !!!

        Learn to properly analyze and evaluate the situation yourself !!!

        In fact, Mig is now barely breathing at the expense of shipbuilding contracts with India and contract execution for our shipbuilders on blacksmiths and that’s all !!!
        But these contracts were paid long ago:

        1. Contract No. RSK / 335641250005 dated January 20.01.2004, XNUMX

        2. Contract No. Р / 910411151637 dated December 06.12.2009, XNUMX

        So read carefully what is written very shallow and "veiled" about the net profit in year 11 and losses in year 10.
        Did you see?

        Well, the authors, for some reason, did not indicate that only NAZ "Sokol" JSC "RSK MiG" "sticks out" for (manufacturing of units for the MiG-29K / KUB, MiG-29M / M2 aircraft) the amount of 424 thousand rubles. !!!

        I won't talk about the rest of the "junkies" at all, ...... otherwise your "illusory" and joyful moods will disappear like .... morning fog!

          SW vaf, chat less, and watch for the true need voiced by you information.

          Even if the entrance to the production complexes of OJSC RSK MiG and OJSC NAZ SOKOL are paid, the people working there will still come to the factories and do their job.
          And believe me, they will.

          Do you really know who "breathes" there and how?

          Dear audience, I’ll say:
          You should not put inverse emoticons here, relative to the above "vaf - ohm".
          It is not our business who is there and how much and to whom "sticks out".
          It’s good that they didn’t dig further.

          And we built aircraft, we are building and we will build it! =))))
          And our pilots will fly on them !!!
          The only way!

        In 2012, the MiG Corporation intends to double the production of fighters compared to the previous year. According to the CEO of the corporation Sergey Korotkov, MiG plans to ship 24 Fighter to customers versus 12 in 2011.

      If the head of the KLA were not Poghosyan, but someone else, a neutral person who was not dependent on any design bureau, then MiG would be better off. And so for Poghosyan, like Su sucker, the only concern is Sukhoi and Super planes - Jet, which does not want to really fly. One PR and no success.

      God forbid that the Kazakhs would still buy, as promised, and under the Mig-29M2 brand with a recirculation double cabin, the plane became a reality, and not single samples for SHOW and Airshow, as it is now !!!

      Well, suddenly, "lapsus" will be done again, as with the Algerian SMT-kami, and we, you see, will appear in service (do not pay attention, I have such black humor in the morning, the weather got it .....)!

    Excellent KB with an excellent school of designers, the revival is undoubtedly pleasing, but it is very worrying about the lack of orders for our troops, 24 aircraft are nothing for such production, which during the Soviet times produced 150-200 planes a year ..... Let's hope that new ones arrive as export and defense orders for this marvelous equipment and the MIG RSK will shine with new talented young staff!

    need to revive the Yak 141 only on more modern technologies.

    It can be used more flexibly; it does not need to be kept on the runway length; it can sit and start vertically from smooth and even surfaces.
    .
    Even if the enemy destroys a massive strike, the airfields will retain some of their potential.

    Such a machine is useful for Mistral or other small and conventional aircraft carriers.

    Thus, the MiG would gain its niche in the market.

    Just in the LAST time, it remains only to feel sorry for the "poor and unfortunate" Poghosyan - there are some wayward, uncontrollable, frostbitten test pilots on their necks. This from them, according to his fame, is one razor and misfortune. Now, if there were others, then all the hockey girls were.
