Choose the best grip for shooting from AK "without recoil"

36
Shooting is a wonderful way to keep yourself in good shape and develop habits that ensure accuracy and resistance to stress. At the same time, the shooters, including professionals, often think about choosing the best grip, because there are several ways to keep weapon when firing.

Team Kalashnikov Media I decided to find out which way is better and more effective, and with what method of shooting there will be practically no recoil.

For testing, expert Vladimir Onoka chose a distance of 10 meters, paper targets and shooting in short bursts. Shooting will be conducted from an AK103 submachine gun chambered for 7,62 × 39.

Expert Kalashnikov Media will test four ways of grabbing a weapon: Soviet classics, Magpul grip, a unique technique for holding weapons of Alexander Petrov, as well as a “nameless” grip.

What conclusions did Vladimir Onoka come to when comparing these methods? For which of them does the automatic machine jump the least in hands?

According to the expert, if everything is done technically correctly, i.e. use the maximum number of points of contact, tightly press the butt to the shoulder, the results in any case will be quite good, no matter how fashionable the grip of the weapon that is selected when firing is called.

On AK 74, you can usually just hold onto the fore-end, it has practically no recoil, but at 7,62 yes, you have to keep it somehow when shooting in bursts.

RPK-74 is even more stable in this respect. And only the slightly greater weight of the "stick with horns", as my favorite colleagues call my favorite, makes me make additional efforts when holding it.

The author of the video did not show when the belt of the machine starts at the elbow and the 3rd retention point appears, and let these athletes go to the forest and away!

In combat conditions, you try to reduce your silhouette as much as possible. Hands as close to the body as possible, bend down. Such a grip was not shown. All grip some kind of sports.

Yes, what is there to argue, men, as it’s more convenient for anyone, just keep your weapon. A universal and absolutely familiar and convenient grip a priori cannot exist in nature.

In-in, the rest - show off. For example, there is a stand on a vinar with support on three straightened fingers of the left hand wink Only this must be put in your hands for years, otherwise it will fall off

What's the grip? When you go on an attack or storm a building, rough terrain, in vehicles or not, in narrows or in an open field, whether they fire at you or not, you hold and use the weapon depending on the situation, the intensity of the return fire, often and generally on the pistol, like -that was not up to the intricacies of the grip, all this pampering, to the realities of combat and the practice of shooting has a very, mediocre relationship, so, for entertainment, those who want to play "war"

The standard form of the forearm in Kalashnikov, IMHO, is not the most understandable for me. Better is the classic straight fore-end from the bottom, without any unnecessary influxes and transitions, so that the left hand can freely hold the weapon with any grip along the entire length of the fore-end, because different types of grips are more convenient for different people. And for even greater grip convenience, we personally cling to a similar squiggle under the fore-end (in AK-12 \ 15 everything should be taken into account):

He did not serve in the military camp.
Personally, I hold the AK for the store and not for the fore-end ... more precisely, not directly for the store, but around the corner between the store and the receiver. But! When shooting both standing and lying, I always use a machine gun belt, specially tensioned so that it draws the elbow of the left hand to the point where the hand is grasped by the machine gun. If we look at the shoulders of the forces arising from the shooting, we find that there is a strong force that lifts the barrel up. This is especially evident in the first video. Now apply my grip method. Due to the fact that the position of the elbow of my left hand when shooting is almost vertical, the overturning moment from the shot through the belt is compensated by the mass of the whole hand, which is not without using the belt - there the recoil pulls only the hand. Simply put, I tie the whole arm and shoulder to the machine with a belt. It is as if I tied an extra to the machine. cargo. When shooting from unstable positions, using a belt helps a lot. And lying down is just a song - the forearm of the left hand forms a rigid, tense stance, on which the machine lies.

I was taught in PV only this way. For then the left hand becomes a monolith with a gun - the elbow is motionless and the shoulder joint regulates the position. Hedgehog it is clear that the shoulder joint is stronger than the elbow. Hence the best control of the barrel and less amplitude of vibrations during shots.

but I thought only in our border detachment they showed it like that, but the corner of the store and the place where the forend lining had not yet started, the belt was wrapped in one quick "pull-in" movement (each adjusted the length of the belt for himself in advance) ...
I served from 2001 to 2007, Akhty, Derbent, Borzoi - I was riding a contract after the contract.

I believe that the handguard of the AK should have a handle, like a Romanian or Hungarian AK. Not a similar form, but should be. It can be removable, but for most it is convenient when shooting.

If there is a movie camera on the weapon and a monitor on the helmet, it is better to shoot with focus on the thigh.

It is not better, but more convenient in movement to shoot like this. Because through the camera you can see where the weapon is aimed. The weapon on the belt relieves the muscles of the shooter in motion. But at normal hip range you can't shoot accurately unless you're a circus performer. We need a normal emphasis and a normal fit. The weapon strap is pulled around the body over the shoulder to relax the hand holding the weapon and more accurately shoot. The best position for accurate shooting is prone, when the "support" is stretched over the surface of the ground, the center of gravity is very low, and the shooter's body is as relaxed as possible, the weapon belt is pulled diagonally over the back over the shoulder and supports the left hand, which holds the weapon from below by the forend. Even a 30-round magazine in this position already compromises firing accuracy, and a shorter one is needed to take a lower and more stable firing position.
Shooting from the thigh since you cannot shoot from the correct lying position with any camera. Proper manufacturing is a guarantee of an accurate shot if the weapon is serviceable and shot.
