One of the developments that ODK-Klimov JSC is rightly proud of is the new TV7-117CT engine.

Alexander Vatagin, Executive Director of JSC, said that this engine is a kind of innovative product in the field of global engine building. The Russian government has identified its production as a priority project for the development of the Russian aviation industry. In addition, the development of this engine will solve the problem of replacing Ukrainian components and will eliminate the dependence on Ukrainian supplies.

The TV7-117CT engine is a modern model of the engine range, which by its characteristics is much better than its predecessors, and also surpasses the American PW-127 engines. The main indicator, due to which the developers managed to improve the characteristics of the TV7-117CT engine, is the creation of an ultra-modern control system that is so sophisticated and smart that it allows even with design changes to achieve the best performance.

    Most helicopters in Russia fly with different modifications of TV3-117. And this is a completely different engine.
