New training helicopter "Ansat-U" arrives in Syzran branch of VUNC Air Force

Until the end of this year, the Syzran branch of the Military Training and Scientific Center of the Air Force "Air Force Academy. Professor N.E. Zhukovsky and Yu.A. Gagarin ”(VUNC VVS) plans to equip the 6 with new Ansat-U helicopters.

The flight instructors of the Syzran Higher Aviation School of Pilots underwent retraining for this type of helicopter and is ready to carry out training flights with cadets.

The new aircraft belong to the light class and are intended for the initial flight training of military cadets. aviation schools. In the future, they should completely replace the obsolete Mi-2 helicopters.

Unlike the base model, a double set of command controls is installed in the cockpit. Behind the student, there is an instructor's seat and space for six more trainees, who can replace each other in the pilot's seat right in flight.

The availability of an integrated digital electrical remote control system at Ansat allows using the machine as a training one. The system can be customized to the requirements of a specific training flight, taking into account the limitations of flight conditions in critical operating modes.

The system also makes it possible to simulate various flight situations, regulate the helicopter's “tolerance” for control errors, and also use a single unified machine for both initial training and advanced training or retraining of pilots to other helicopters.

The electronic engine control system at Ansat allows, when training, to safely simulate the failure of one of the engines and save power plant life.

Total for 2020. The Air Force should receive more than 30 modern light Ansat-U training helicopters

        On April 27, 2012, the first prototype of the Ansat-1M light helicopter was demonstrated at OJSC Kazan Helicopter Plant (KHP) -
