BOOKING THE CABIN TRUCK
Modular booking from Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG

Highest KMW Protection
Expanding the range of tasks for our clients around the world require adequate protection. Passengers of vehicles on patrol cars or other vehicles should be protected from sniper fire, shrapnel, mine explosions and improvised explosive devices.

KMW, as the world leader in this sector, offers extensive protection functionality for various truck cabs.
KMW develops individual private cabs for vehicles on the chassis of any manufacturer.
KMW supplies a welded cabin of its own production with a certain level of protection, which is integrated into the vehicle chassis.

Years of experience and the availability of safety certificates have allowed KMW to create cabins of armored steel without reducing the internal space (compared to the civilian model), without changing the manufacturer’s chassis specifications and to ensure sufficient comfort for the personnel operating the vehicle.

As additional options, when ordering armored cab customers are free to choose among others, the following options:

ABC systems
Cockpit carriage
Communication systems
Survey Systems

BOOKED CONTAINER MOBILE MODULE (MUNCONPERS)
The greatest degree of protection when transporting people

To protect soldiers from asymmetric threats, such as improvised explosive devices (IEDs), guerrilla attacks, and so on, KMW offers a highly protected structure - a transportable container module.

MUNCONPERS is certified and has proven its reliability in combat operation.
Depending on the chassis of the vehicle, the protected container can accommodate up to 18 passengers, including personnel with their equipment, ensuring maximum safety and decent comfort.

In addition to the highest degree of protection against artillery fire, small-arms direct fire weapons, anti-tank mines and land mines, the container also provides protection against the threats of IEDs (NBC).

The container can be easily unloaded and installed at the desired location, you just have to connect the power supply and you will receive: an armored office, an armored barracks or a control point. It is also easy in a minute to load a container onto a vehicle and relocate it.

Also in case of damage to the vehicle overload to another vehicle occurs in minutes.
An armored and certified container has already established itself in many armies for transporting soldiers with weapons, VIP delegations and in cases of crisis evacuations from dangerous areas.

Completion and interior equipment also varies by choice of the customer.

It is interesting that quite civilian trucks can be used as a vehicle chassis, for example, for MAN AG these are TGS 41.XX 8x4 or 34.XX 8x4 (dump truck chassis and / or concrete mixers)

Of course with the "appropriate" adaptation for military needs.

And for the system of raising and lowering (loading / unloading) of the container, a typical Abroll Kipper System is used, for example from
Franz Xaver Meiller Fahrzeug- und Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co KG, widely used for loading / unloading large garbage containers.
Note: in 90 = s, I heard from Europeans that Africans bought all cheap old ones, including broken ones, with damaged body-press-garbage trucks.
Allegedly, there, in their homeland, the aborigines removed all unnecessary, burned loopholes and ventilation systems in the hull (a la "hole" in the roof); .

I don’t know if it’s true, but the fact that the press case of the container is made of high-strength Hardox steel is for sure. And he is very durable.

All our attempts to return the geometry of the overturned garbage truck did not lead to success (the press and jacks "flew", but he did not care.

Most likely, this refers to protection against fragments of artillery shells.

There is an armored capsule in the Urals, but in my opinion it is not removed for the equipment of the checkpoint.

Very often they began to use containers as transport launchers. Due to their versatility and compactness as well as a significant share of conspiracy (due to the indistinguishability of conventional containers). Based on such systems, you can simulate various fillings. Starting from cargo-passenger options and ending with launchers for various types of missiles. Medical options, engineering, electronic and so on and so forth. How much fantasy is enough. The mobility of such systems can only be envied, because of their transportation as on my transport by air and sea. There is a great future for such container modules.

For the deployment of roadblocks, that’s it. In the Caucasus it would be very useful, in addition to sandbags and to lay over what is needed.

Well, then you need to rivet these modules more, and you can take them to the place on an ordinary truck!

Did the men see? The Germans booked a simple 20-ton railway container. And it’s not clear that they arranged an armored sleeping bag over the cabin (the superstructure is incomprehensible)?

they (KMW) make the container themselves from an armored steel, BUT IN 20 "DIMENSIONS - logistics. You can transport it with a standard container platform, railway platform, sea and so on.

They have an add-on (armored) in order to increase the volume (the armor is hot, there is not enough air) and there is a sleeping bag there, everything is acceptable like the serial TGS.
For aerodynamics, anyway, because container roof above.

In the cockpit, they take the outer dimensions of the manufacturer and the casing of the internal combustion engine, holes (technological) and attachment points, the surfaces are made flat and from the armor plate they are "molded"

I like Aktros AHSVS more, though it’s more expensive, but armor protection from mines, svu. 14,5mm caliber bullets are placed with RPG grids ... There is also a Battlebox from LMT on it, but I think MuKonPeretz gets up without problems.
