How Russian "meat grinders" were looking for NATO submarines

7
Russian long-range anti-submarine aircraft Tu-142, which pilots are often called "meat grinders" for their huge double-row coaxially rotating propellers, for the first time since the end of the cold war conducted exercises to search for and identify submarines of an alleged enemy in the Mediterranean.

These aircraft are designed not only for search, but also for the destruction of enemy submarines. They carry various torpedoes, anti-submarine aviation air launch rockets, anti-submarine bombs, mines and more. However, this time the crews were faced with the task of determining the location of enemy submarines.

The Tu-142 carried out the discharge of radio-acoustic buoys of the RSL-75, which easily catch any sound at a depth of 150 meters. The pilots were assisted by ships from the permanent operational compound of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean.

    there will always be few.
and buy an island in the Aegean Sea is not enough.
and roads to build in Russia are few.
The main thing is the meaningful life of people in Russia.

    Tu-142 reset the radio-acoustic buoys RSL-75,
“75” in the name of the buoy, as I understand the year of adoption?

The Ukrainian flag has yellow below, blue above. Here, on the contrary. No need to look everywhere for what is not!

May be. You can clearly see the colors of the flag of a hostile state. wink
