"Lightning" presented a unique development for aircraft engines

At the International Salon "Engines-2012" Ufa Research and Production Enterprise "Lightning" presented a unique development of electronic control systems for aircraft engines and launch vehicles. Such a system will be installed on the mainline aircraft 21 century.

At the exhibition, visitors could see the electronic ignition systems for the newest domestic Yak-130, An-148 and Be-200 aircraft, as well as the unparalleled multifunctional electronic control system for engines of the Russian-Ukrainian An-70 aircraft.

Among the scientific and technical advances developed by “Lightning” were the contactless fiber-optic flame control system in the combustion chamber and the optical system for measuring the surface temperature of the turbine for the PD-14 engine of the MS-21 aircraft.

Representatives of the Ufa Research and Production Enterprise told about the implementation of a set of works on upgrading electronic control systems for D-18 engines of the An-124 and D-136 Mi-26 helicopters and reported on the creation of an electrical ignition system for oxygen-hydrogen engines of promising domestic launch vehicles.
