Weekly summary of November 4-10 on the military and social situation in the DPR and LPR from the Mage military officer
This week, the number of attacks increased, both in the DPR and in the LPR. It all started on 03.11.17 on Friday. From 16 hours began the battles, and from 19 to 21 already went art duels. This is when our artillery is trying to destroy the batteries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, firing residential areas.
Such a heat and an exchange of artillery strikes was in December 2016 in the Svetlodar arc, then in January, during an aggravation in the area of the YaBP, and later on the southern front in February-March. All of these events were during the offensive by the company of mouth and body groups with the support of several pieces of equipment. What is over, everyone remembers.
This time the battles and heavy shelling began in the previous weeks, after the rotation, then there was a week of relative calm and last week again an aggravation. But there was no offensive, even by the forces of the platoon.
Some readers suggested that this was a response to a burned-out warehouse near the village of Skilled. But, first, in the summary I posted a video where a local resident shoots how Grads of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shoot in the daytime. And the warehouse caught fire at night. 05.11.17 on Sunday, the sun set in 16: 05, which means it began to darken about half an hour earlier. And the next day, the headquarters of the ATO in general declared that the warehouse in the village of Skilled was burned by the separatists. That is, they did not even begin to explain that the warehouse was burned by Russian special forces or from a UAV, as in previous cases. And they simply called their burnt-out warehouse the object of the separatists.

Our intelligence continues to record a decline in the moral and psychological state and military discipline of the Ukrainian military, as well as an increase in crime for these reasons in the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the NSU.
Only in October 2017 of the year, the number of suicides, desertions and the unauthorized abandonment of parts among the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine increased by 30-45%, compared with September!

In general, in October, irretrievable non-combat losses in the “ATO” zone amounted to 85 of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Of these, 21% is a suicide, and 75% occurred when the victims were intoxicated, 4% because of the terrible state of the technology.
APU continues to concentrate heavy weapons near the front line:
