Afghanistan: August 2010
Until the end of 2010, 4 is still a month, and it has already become the most lethal for the American troops. 321 was killed by an American soldier, with the total number of soldiers killed by coalition forces being 485 people. At the same time, in 2009, only 313 people died. As the contingent of coalition troops increased and military operations against the Taliban increased, militant attacks became more frequent, and the Taliban's footprint began to grow, as explained by the head of the US Central Command, General David Petraeus. President Obama said that since the military operations in Iraq have been completed, all coalition forces will be concentrated in Afghanistan, where the military conflict has been going on for almost 9 years. This issue contains photos of Afghanistan and participants in the Afghan conflict, taken over the past month.
