Russian Helicopters repaired Mi-24P for Myanmar Air Force

The Russian Helicopters holding (part of Rostec) completed the repair of the first of four transport and combat helicopters Mi-24P of the Air Force of Myanmar under a previously signed contract. This was reported on Friday in press-service holding.
This contract is extremely important for us, because for the first time we are implementing a scheme for overhauling combat helicopters with the holding's specialists leaving the territory of the customer. Successful completion of all work will be the basis for further development of cooperation and the signing of new agreements with our partners from Myanmar.

They specified that in October of this year a group of holding specialists will arrive in Myanmar to repair the three remaining machines. "At the moment, the customer has delivered units repaired in the Russian Federation and aviation property necessary for restoration of serviceability of Mi-24 helicopters with the establishment of the next overhaul life and service life, "the Russian Helicopters said.
My-24P transport and combat helicopters, as well as the Mi-17 and Mi-2 multi-purpose helicopters are being operated in Myanmar.
