The head of the UN mission and the OPCW asks not to intervene in the investigation of himatak in the SAR
Head of the Joint Mechanism for Investigating Cases of Chemical Use weapons (IDA) Edmond Müle asked members of the UN Security Council not to interfere in the work process, because, according to him, the UN and OPCW mission to investigate the use of chemical weapons in Syria receives a significant number of recommendations "from many parties" about which conclusions must be made in the investigation of chemical attacks in the country.
He said that at the moment the mission of the RMC is investigating two incidents - in Khan-Sheikhun 4 of April and Umm-Hoshe 16 of September 2016 of the year.
He noted that "direct and indirect messages come from everywhere," there were "more than one and less than twenty." According to him, the work is being conducted "in a highly politicized atmosphere."
