According to the blog dambiev, in the capital of Belarus, a military parade of the Minsk garrison troops and the passage of civilian equipment in honor of Independence Day took place.
Approximately 3,5 thousand troops took part in the parade. As part of the foot column, 20 ceremonial calculations were introduced, which were presented by the Minsk Suvorov Military School, the Military Academy, the military-technical faculty of the BNTU, and others. 26 parade calculations of modern military equipment took part in the mechanized column. In total, 222 pieces of equipment were involved. As part of a mechanized column Tanks T-72B, BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, BTR-80 armored personnel carriers, Bogatyr vehicles, light-armored Cayman vehicles, MZKT vehicles with unmanned vehicles aviation complexes, R-434 stations, 2S12B Sani mortar complexes, Sturm combat vehicles, Polonaise multiple launch rocket system and other military equipment. As part of the airborne echelon, 58 aircraft took part in the parade: 26 helicopters and 32 aircraft. The column of civilian equipment was represented by 102 units, including BelGi cars, equipment of the Minsk Tractor Plant, holdings Gomselmash and Amkodor.
