The crew of the anti-submarine ship "Admiral Vinogradov" during the exercise discovered and destroyed the submarine of the conditional enemy, reports press office Eastern District.
“In Pacific training ranges fleet in the Sea of Japan, the crew of the large anti-submarine ship (BOD) "Admiral Vinogradov" supported by anti-submarine aircraft aviation successfully completed the tasks of finding, detecting and destroying a conditional enemy’s submarine, ”the release said.
The role of the enemy submarine was played by one of the submarines of the Pacific Fleet.
In the course of solving anti-submarine missions, the crew carried out a set of measures for classifying and tracking a submarine of a conditional enemy. The detected submarine was conditionally destroyed with the help of jet bomb installations and torpedo armament BOD,
told the press service.
In addition, the ship overcame a minefield exposed by the submarine of a conditional enemy, shooting the floating mines from the AK-630 artillery complex.
In the near future, the crew will have to repel the attack of air attack weapons with the execution of combat missile and artillery firing.
