Russia and the United States held a video conference on flight safety in Syria
Russia and the United States during the next video conference confirmed the absence of significant incidents in connection with the actions aviation Russian Aerospace Forces and the US-led coalition in Syria, reports Interfax Post Ministry of Defense of Russia.

During the videoconference, the implementation of a memorandum of understanding between the Russian Federation and the United States on incident prevention and flight safety during operations in Syrian airspace was discussed.
Following the results of the videoconference, representatives of Russia and the United States noted the effectiveness and reliability of the existing communication channels, and also confirmed their readiness to continue contacts, the Russian military said.
The Russian Defense Ministry also reported that during the videoconference, representatives of Russia and the United States exchanged assessments of the implementation of the memorandum.
