SAU "Phlox" - Russian promising 120-mm self-propelled artillery.

The automated tool "Phlox" is made on the armored wheeled chassis "Ural-BB" (6x6). On the roof of the armored cab is a remote-controlled combat module with an 12,7-mm machine gun "Kord". Protection from controlled weapons provides a system for detecting laser radiation and jamming.

But I’m wondering, is the gun on this car chassis? Or maybe a universal rifled gun, like "NONA", "VIENNA", "HOST"?

Wagon of course. I remember even they called the mortar somewhere in the media .. Well, the caliber also shows the range of use.

Why not make a self-propelled mortar based on the Kurganets-25 or Boomerang chassis? The eight-wheeled BTR chassis provides good off-road vehicle patency, while the armor provides circular protection against bullets of 14,5 mm KPVT, 30 mm frontal projectiles and large fragments.
In its current form, "Phlox" is suitable only for export. Camouflage indicates the export orientation.
