Dresden massacre - the predecessor of the shelling in the Donbass
In the evening of February 13, the US and British Air Forces 1945 launched a massive bombardment of the German city of Dresden. This incident is not very much loved to remember in the West, because it became the most vivid example of the deliberate destruction of the civilian population of the enemy. During the bombing of Dresden, according to official data, more civilians died than in Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined.
Conscious bombing of the German civilian population of the Allied Air Force began to come to grips with the middle of 1944, when it became clear that it was not possible to beat the enemy industry. As US President Roosevelt said about the bombing: “We must be cruel to the Germans, I mean the Germans as a nation, and not just the Nazis. Either we have to castrate the German people, or treat them in such a way so that they do not produce offspring that can continue to behave like in the past ... ”
At the beginning of 1945, Dresden became a city of refugees. The Germans warned opponents that there was neither the military industry nor military units in Dresden. Hospitals were located in the city, evacuation points brought works of art from all over Germany. At the beginning of 1945, more than 600 thousand people gathered in Dresden, who were preparing to escape there from the alleged "atrocities" of the Soviet army.
February 13 from the airfields of the Allies 245 bomber climbed, which conducted the first raid. Then - another 550, they made the second raid. In total, 2.5 kilotons of explosives were poured onto the city. Fires joined in one, a fire storm began. Asphalt melted and flowed through the streets. A giant tornado lifted people into the air and threw into the fire. Those who were hiding in shelters, burned to ashes, or melted, saturating the earth with fat.
One of those who survived the bombing was the American writer Kurt Vonnegut, who was at the time in captivity. His book on the bombing of Dresden's “Slaughterhouse No.5 or The Crusade Against Children” was banned in the democratic USA.
The US Air Force officially called the bombing of Dresden a "Deliberate Terrorist Attack". Its results: Up to 80% of city buildings were damaged to varying degrees, and up to 50% of residential buildings were destroyed or seriously damaged. The following was destroyed: “24 banks, 26 buildings of insurance companies, 31 trade shops, 6470 shops, 640 warehouses, 256 trading rooms, 31 hotels, 26 brothels, 63 administrative buildings, 3 theaters, 18 cinemas, 11 churches, 60 chapels, 50 culturalhistorical buildings, 19 hospitals (including auxiliary and private clinics), 39 schools, 5 consulates, 1 zoological garden, 1 waterworks, 1 railway depot, 19 post offices, 4 tram depots, 19 ships and barges. "
According to the Nazis, who, in general, coincided with the calculations of the Red Army and the GDR, 200-250 thousands of people died in Dresden overnight. Currently, the facts are distorted, and it is customary to say that 20-25 thousand have died. Those who say otherwise are ignored, like Kurt Vonnegut.
The main purpose of the Dresden massacre was precisely to destroy the civilian population, to test the practice of genocide as a method of solving military, political and economic conflicts. The method is recognized as successful and approved. Bombing organizer Admiral Arthur Harris was erected a monument in London on 1992.
In the West, the method is recognized as fit, and that the West, and its followers regularly use the "deliberate terrorist attacks" of the civilian population as a way to put pressure on unwanted states. The shelling of the settlements of the LPR and the DPR is not emotional steps and not the mistakes of artillerymen - this is systematic genocide. Which, without objection, carry out units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. No matter how they call themselves - either the 44th artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is “desperate”, or the 15th transport brigade aviation The Blue Stitch, or the 73th Maritime Special Operations Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, “fur seals,” they have one essence. "Desperate" fire at residential areas, "Blue" deliver ammunition, and "seals" and other animals adjust the fire and carry out stripping.
By the way, back in March 2014, the media reported that “the entire personnel of the 73rd Maritime Special Purpose Center of the Navy, with the exception of a single officer, decided to transfer to the subordination of the Russian Black Sea fleet". So the current “seals” have a little more relation to the present from the 73 maritime center of special operations than none. Modern Ukrainian "seals" are ordinary Maidan gopniks, who took a strange name for themselves. It is as if Vova Zelensky called himself Joe Dassin, citing the fact that Dassin has already died, and Vova can do it in French.
As you can see, the deliberate genocide, which involved the Armed Forces of Ukraine, originated in the Second World War, and finally took shape during the bombing of Dresden, where overnight people died more than Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined.
Interesting fact. On the outskirts of Dresden, in the places of compact residence of emigrants in the 2 of the 19th century, four "foreign churches" were erected: Anglican, American, Scottish Presbyterian and Russian Orthodox. Under the Anglo-American bombs only the Russian Orthodox Church, built in 1872-1874, survived. for the Russian mission in the principality of Saxony.
