Media: MiG will offer its fighter at the competition in New Delhi

44
The MiG Corporation will offer the Indian military department its MiG-35 aircraft during the competition for the supply of medium-sized fighters. The tender will be announced shortly, reported News.

According to the Aircraft Corporation, "the Swedish company SAAB with the Gripen NG aircraft and the American Lockheed Martin with the" Indian "version of the F-16 fighter will receive invitations to participate in the competition. The main customer requirements - "the maximum localization of the production of fighters in India."

"UAC and RAC" MiG "will take part in the upcoming competition of the Indian Air Force. It remains to wait for the official terms of reference from the Indian government and receive an invitation. After that, we will prepare and send a package of documents with our proposals to New Delhi, ”the corporation told.

“At the moment, New Delhi is completing the formation of a technical task, which in the form of a Request for Proposals (RFP) will be sent to selected participating firms. This will be the formal start of the new tender. In the summer of this year, Indian representatives appealed to Russia with a request to describe the possible complete set of MiG-35 fighter jets, which the KLA will be ready to show at the tender, ”the newspaper writes citing its sources.

“The Russian side has sent to India an expanded list of equipment and weapons, which includes electronic warfare stations, suspended optical-electronic sighting containers, a wide range of aviation weapons, including air-to-air missiles, air-to-ground missiles, high-precision bombs, ”a military diplomatic source said.

He noted that “in many respects, a set of equipment and weapons is similar to what will be supplied to Egypt with MiG-29M fighter jets”.

Russia is stepping on the same rake for the second time, the previous competition did not pass for the 35 moment because this aircraft was not adopted for service in Russia. First, we deploy production for your own, then already sell to others.

And why actually a rake. Put up for tender, learned the requirements. The contract with Rafal was partially foiled.
By the way, Americans and Swedes also do not have an Indian version

The Americans at that time offered the Indians F / A-18 (it is strange that not the F-16), but the Swedes Grippen.
And for the reason of our MiG .... I very much doubt that they will choose him. Most likely, in the end, India will decide to independently build similar aircraft in which there will be a kilometer of imported components

Who ripped off that? Rafali has risen in price, so the Indies did not want to take, chatting.

In fact, MIG will only make an offer after a personal invitation. If it does, then the Indians are also interested in the twin-engine fighter variant.
          Why think for them?
And Rafalyam, yes - raspberries were spoiled, no matter who said it.

So, it seems like this year the first batch of Mg-35s enters the Russian troops (Wikipedia), so now you can already rely on your own experience of use. Now for the Indians, this plane is the most profitable. Well, Oland helped us, on time showed the failure of France as a partner, having thrown us with the Mistrals, now he has lost money for Mistral and Rafali, and helped us earn them :)

I will add, the basic requirement for the Indians: this is the elimination of deficiencies in the release of GV, disease 29x soot behind the tail. Last year, this flaw persisted. Another requirement is equipment reliability. According to the operating experience of the Mig-29K / KUB (here already written) a low percentage of reliability. By the way, 29K / KUB went into service with the Indians earlier than us

Look around dear and soberly startle. The first time the MiG-35 flew because the Mikoyanovskys seduced and did not submit the car to the competition, in general. I hope now to use the situation to the fullest.

Especially for the Indians in one of the motor bays instead of the engine to put ... Yes, no matter what. At least an additional tank, at least a rocket accelerator, at least an electronic warfare station, at least arrange a glove compartment for spare parts and personal belongings of pilots there.
And it will be a single-engine Yoroplan.

Mig-35 was originally designed for export, not for itself, because the state had no money to design and build two full-fledged fifth-generation middle and heavy class fighters at the same time. So the migrants had to create a deep modernization of the Mig-29. Unfortunately, time is hopelessly lost and today it is short-sighted to take it into service with the domestic air force en masse. You only need to purchase a small batch of Mig-35, so that it is easier to promote it in the foreign market. And all the proceeds should be directed to the development of a multifunctional mid-range front-line fighter, as well as to the development of combat drones from 1 t and higher.

Well, it’s not true, blink35 continuation blink29, a good glider and new opportunities in range and weapons. The history of the adoption of the Mig35 by Russia has already been going on for 10 years, probably, there was some kind of a muddy story with the ZhUKOM radar, like they drove and Korotkov said three years ago that Mig35 was completely ready, and the Moscow Region was pulling and pulling.

And who are you, Minister of Finance, state money? The state would have to produce fewer billionaires — oligarchs — to get carried away by the Ottomans, and build the zenith — it’s about the stadium, which is already golden, they have already decided to withdraw all money from social programs. Look at how many imported equipment the same Kerch bridge is building, and this is all the currency, so don’t believe Putin’s media, there’s one lie.

What is the use of a magnificent glider, provided that electronics are placed on it at the level of the late 70's, the beginning of the 80's?
and engines of the same level?

Yes, I know that. but the USSR and today's Russia did not export these systems. and the Swedes supply. moreover, inflating self-esteem to the point of absurdity. and Mr. a little higher ... who said that the engine and avionics is 90% .. I would like to remind you also of maneuverability and armament. and also radar and the ability to work on the surface, about the price both for the car itself and for the hour of flight in operation. + More speed, the ability to accelerate in a short time to those speeds and flight altitude (practical ceiling). MiGs have all these indicators not inferior to either Grippen or Rafal. and two engines are still better than one, no matter how super reliable it is. MiG and on one engine will reach the airfield and will be able to land, unlike Grippen. and the prices vary greatly.

The other day, they wrote about the tender on Tape, fzr1000 just reminded them that they want to replace Mig-21 23/27 single-engine aircraft. They fall under the category of LFI. It’s clear they will not buy from the Chinese and their development does not suit them.
So they decided to take the F-16 or Grippen. To see the Korean T-50 Golden Eagle does not suit the same.
But the MiG-35, a medium-heavy, two-engine one, will the Indians be of interest to the question. There is still politics, the Su-35 to China. And the Americans are trying to create an anti-Chinese bloc.

After buying the Americans (and they are obvious favorites here), for the sake of completeness, they will only have to buy the Chinese "top ten". And that's it, they will become the owners of the strangest collection of combat aircraft in the history of aviation. smile

From the fact that you fantasize here and find a ton of money for all projects, the budget of the Ministry of Defense will not be replenished for a penny. Bridges with stadiums also need to be built. And corruption, for your information, is everywhere, even in the army. Kickbacks, theft, abuse begin with the production of a screw and end with finished ships, planes, tanks and missiles.
