President of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves, in all likelihood, decided that Estonia is “the navel of the European Union”. Information resource Regnum writes that Ilves called Greece, Hungary, Cyprus and Italy “Putin’s useful idiots” calling for the lifting of the sanctions regime against Russia. According to Ilves, the discrepancy in the positions of the EU countries towards the policy of the Russian authorities towards Ukraine is unacceptable.

Ilves believes that anti-Russian sanctions cannot be lifted in any way, since “Putin stopped shooting at people in Ukraine, but he still occupies territory there.”

In fact, it is safe to say that the “useful idiot of Washington” Mr. Ilves envies the Greeks, Hungarians, Cypriots and Italians. The fact is that the authorities of the countries he mentioned themselves agree with Moscow on the mutual easing of sanctions, which means that the Russian market can open the doors to certain food products from Greece, Cyprus, Italy and Hungary. Estonian goods, however, have to be absorbed by the Estonians themselves in three throats, reducing the pace of economic development and forcing the state to plunge into new Eurocredits.

In an interview with the publication "Delfi" Ilves said that the Baltic states "are preparing for any scenario development options in connection with the situation in Ukraine." Ilves declares that Estonia, for example, accepts Russian liberals ... Apparently, this is one of the points of the Baltic training plan. Just in case, Ilves repeated his earlier argument:

Estonia today is as safe and secure as ever.

To all of the above, Ilves added that Russian “propaganda” is spreading actively. But, according to him, Estonia is ready to defend itself even against cyber attacks.
