Armored vehicles are moving from Latvia to participate in regular exercises, called Saber Strike and Saber Knight. More specifically, we are talking about participation in one of the segments of these exercises - Dragoon Ride II.

It is reported that on the territory of Estonia, NATO military equipment goes along several main routes. Moreover, American self-propelled artillery mounts and infantry fighting vehicles arrive in the Baltic state from the US military base in Germany. The final route of the military equipment and the US military contingent (personnel) accompanying it is the town of Tapa, where the main stage of the joint exercises will take place.
In total, about 10 thousands of NATO troops will take part in the first stage of maneuvers on the territory of the Baltic States. The control of the maneuvers from the American side will be carried out by General John Gronsky - the deputy commander of the US troops in Europe.
General Gronsky notes that during the exercise, great attention will be paid to the potential threat emanating from the territory of Russia. According to the American general, the exercises are aimed at consolidating the efforts of the “allies” on the eastern flank of NATO.
