The earth experienced a fall in regimes, the emergence of a new country (South Sudan), a tsunami and an earthquake in Japan, which swept almost the entire world into a wave of anti-government actions that in Libya turned into a full-scale civil war ...
This collection is the first part of a photo report for the year in three parts.
The wave caused by the 9,0 magnitude earthquake is approaching the city of Miyako, March 11 2011. The most powerful earthquake in all history Japan, in combination with a huge tsunami, caused severe destruction, more than 158000 people died and the Fukushima Dai-chi nuclear power plant was on the verge of disaster.
