Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN Security Council, Vitaly Churkin, told media representatives that the Russian Federation had circulated a draft statement calling for a thorough investigation of the tragedy in Odessa, which broke out on May 9, 2. Statement by Vitaly Churkin leads RIA News:

We have distributed a very simple draft statement, emphasizing the need to implement the Minsk agreements, and also calling for an investigation into the tragic events in Odessa on May 2 on 2014, when 48 people were burned. We will be interested in what the reaction of the members of the Security Council will be.

Today (April 28) the UN Security Council is meeting at a meeting initiated by Ukraine. It should be recalled that Ukraine received the status of a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. President of Ukraine Poroshenko urged members of the Security Council to "study the situation in the Donbas and in the Crimea." From the statement Poroshenko:
28 April in New York will host a public meeting of the UN Security Council, initiated by the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN on my instructions. The reason: the deterioration of the situation in the Donbas and Russia's failure to comply with the Minsk agreements.

He gave instructions to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs V. Pristayko to inform the international community of the latest information on the criminal actions of the occupiers in the Donbas and in the Crimea, in particular on the prohibition of the activity of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people.

By the Crimean Tatar people Poroshenko, apparently, understands several people from the gang of Islyamov, Chubarov and Dzhemilev.

Russia circulated in the UN Security Council a draft statement on the need to investigate the Odessa tragedy (May 2 2014)

But the UN Security Council meeting on the criminal activity in the same Odessa 2 May 2014 Poroshenko in a strange way did not initiate.

Why it was not done two years ago? Were you afraid to offend the "partner"? And now, apparently, they did it in defiance of the agenda declared by the ruin in order to "cool it down".

Not only Odessa, but who will (in Kiev-controlled) in Mariupol investigate the shooting of a peaceful demonstration on May 9? A lot of crimes can be brought against the Kiev junta besides Odessa. And every investigation will lead to a fallow government.

This Ukrainian hetman Poroshenko is getting out of his way to remind, in any case, that so far there is such a country - Ukraine. And the worst thing is that it still enjoys Western support.
