The last name Gaidar of today's generation is associated most of all with the brightly unloved, destructive perestroika time, when Egor Timurovich Gaidar stood at the government wheel. But bringing up children today, our life foundation, is such a complex process that several fathers decided to unite and create their own movement. Further more. And now, in Rostov-on-Don, the first regional forum of fathers was organized with the loud title “Responsible fatherhood is the key to a strong Don family.” As indicated in small press releases, the main goal of the society is very noble promises: first, it is necessary to raise the authority of fatherhood, to carry out systematic work with difficult teenagers, to assist large families and single fathers. Similar movements appear in other regions.

But raising children depends largely on the role of the father. The father must remain the key figure of the family, reliable protection and support, ”said Igor Guskov, first deputy governor of the Rostov region, speaking at the forum.
“Fathers of the Don” is a regional-level movement, now on the ground, in each municipality of the region, so-called “subsidiary” branches are being created. These "daughters" intend first of all to establish interaction with local governments in such a way as to ensure a systematic approach to effectively solving the problems of the family and childhood. This is the promotion of the institution of the family as a cell of society; and organization on the basis of educational institutions of parental education; and the involvement of fathers in the work of the juvenile commission and parent committees in conducting raids; and the involvement of fathers in the management of circles, sports sections, and the organization of tourist trips.
Special attention - to the fathers of disadvantaged adolescents. It is necessary to correct both teenagers themselves and their fathers.
Of course, dysfunctional children under constant "supervision" - both at school and at home. And how many teenagers who have not yet broken the line, but require close attention!

The need to create a “Council of Fathers” and its significance are obvious. After all, it is not by chance that in the familiar phrase “family and school” “family” comes first. The transitional age is a difficult time, not only for us, the parents, but also for our children. They cease to be small, trying on the "adulthood". Situations are different. Sometimes coaches call from school and say their boxers have fought. You have to figure out who is right and who is wrong. If a guy fights or learns poorly, then it is easiest to drive him out of the section. And then he has a direct road to the street. Alexander Sergeevich, together with his colleague Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Kozlov, are still trying to send boys in order to grow up to be normal people.
Many parents bring their children to the boxing section to be taught to stand up for themselves. It is a pity that parents do not take out-of-school education seriously. If they come to school meetings, then there is no time to get out to the coach. And the guys need to be guided and supported. After a few years of training, there always comes a time when children get bored with classes, and at this time it is important that parents somewhere even make them continue to train, because many people quit or go to another sport and then regret it.
Alexander Sergeyevich, like any coach, of course, is a shame to lose such guys, because so much effort has been invested in them. All children are different, sometimes requires an individual approach to each child. Alexander Sergeevich says that you should not hurry and send the guys to the ring, you need to wait for the moment when the athlete is ready for this, then the result will be good.
To achieve something in boxing, you need to be hardworking and stubborn. Even the presence of talent and physical data does not guarantee success if there is no constant work on yourself. Engaged in the section with the guys up to 18 years, but graduates do not forget their mentors. Becoming students, come on vacation, those who live in our city, if possible, continue to engage.
“It’s bad that there is no continuity of generations,” says Alexander Sergeevich. “A good result is achieved when both adults and toddlers train in the same hall, then the latter are drawn to the first and try to imitate them.”
There are a lot of problems in children's boxing. Our guys are not enough training camps. To win in major tournaments, fighting with different opponents is required. In addition, the guys who have reached a certain age need to be passed on, and our coaches do not have such an opportunity. But, despite all the problems, many of the athletes become prize-winners of the competition.
Alexander Sergeevich is engaged not only in coaching, he is chairman of the board of judges of the SFD. Organizational issues in all competitions held in our region lie on his shoulders. Shevchenko practically does not work in the ring today, more often he acts as the main judge or technical delegate. Alexander Sergeevich was offered to leave his coaching activity and go to a higher paying job, but he refused for the sake of the guys he was coaching.
The sniper raised real people who, in turn, raise the same real children
The twins Alexander and Sergey Nikolaenko before the army, during the army and after, always engaged in athletics. They were lucky to meet in their lives a real person who determined their path and gave them the foundation of life. They stand on it so far.
The renowned coach, front-line soldier, sniper Pavel Georgievich Shorets during the Great Patriotic War struck more than two hundred enemy soldiers and officers. He remained alive and after the war he prepared more than one generation of Soviet athletes.
The coach, he was demanding, strict, but fair, never degraded the dignity of man. Thanks to the training sessions, Sergei Nikolaenko managed to take part in the USSR Marathon Championship and get the title of Master of Sports in 1980.
