45
Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehgan said yesterday that Moscow and Tehran had reached a turning point in military cooperation, reports RIA News.

“Over the past two years, we have been able to reach a turning point in military cooperation with Russia,” said Dehgan to IRNA.

According to him, Tehran "began negotiations on the purchase and supply of the necessary weapons to the country and concluded a number of contracts that are under implementation."

The Iranian minister did not specify the details of the transactions.

The main points of military-technical cooperation were discussed by Dehgan and his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoigu 22 February.

The Iranian minister did not specify the details of the transactions.

And do not, we will take a word. When the real results of cooperation appear, then it will be possible to voice specifics. And then how many loudly declared intentions end in nothing.

Well, since they didn’t say the details, then I won’t guess at the coffee grounds, I only know that the contract for S-300 is being implemented.

It seems that as soon as the sanctions were lifted from Iran, he immediately became infected with the Western virus: it is a lot of foggy talk and little to do.

Exactly. As the money appeared, they immediately began to twist their nose and demand that they dance in front of them. Like, these Russians are not going anywhere. They will give away Zadarma and will say thanks again.

The Persians have always been distinguished by "cunning" diplomacy. Not simpletons, but on their own mind. If the "process" of military-political cooperation takes the right course, then this is a big plus. Especially in this region. They are neither Turks, nor even Chinese.

You can understand that "we" are we together with Russia

But you can understand directly - We (Iran) were able to achieve ...

The second has a right to exist - since the liberal part of the Russian leadership has really sabotaged cooperation with Iran earlier.

But now everything seems to be just beginning. This was helped by a political rapprochement - t to Russia realized that the West is not reliable and potentially (and sometimes real) hostile

While Iran is fighting in Syria. opposes all opponents of Russia in the BV and wants to buy Russian weapons (and he has nowhere else - NEVER IRI will buy important things from enemies so as not to become dependent on service and "bookmarks" - weapons are never bought from enemies)

Oh, again, we choose the wrong ally, certainly not the same. As they still have not understood that the whole BV is one big cesspool, as soon as a representative from another tribe comes to power, all the agreements are in the fireplace right there. Was there anything invested in this sucks during the alliance?

Boom hope! In terms of information, the Iranians' sphere of interests is very extensive: Bastion, SU-30SM, S-400, submarine project 877, T-90 with the organization of production in Iran, Pantsir-S, Yak-130. The estimated amount of contracts is 8 billion dollars.

I think we are talking about the supply / assembly under the T-90 license (thanks to the idiot.am from the SSA who posted a video that the ATGM TOU 2 could not destroy the tank or incapacitate the crew when it hit the tank turret, please note when the Shtora is off on the T-90), and not only. We can also talk about the S-400 and MANPADS "Pantsir" because Iran has tangible problems with air defense (the guys from Israel will not let you lie). In addition, it is possible to supply the MiG-29 and its components as well as the Su-25, which have proven themselves very well as attack aircraft for direct support of the troops.

There are no friends outside the state border, and there are more than enough opponents. But Iran has no pretensions on issues of "lands and peoples". And they want to receive "friendly military-economic" Help. And this is good, it is right to play out common interests. The more the region has become very decisive in the geopolitical "dispute".
