The news is trivial, but why shine on the whole world a person who leads such an organization that was previously classified? Why this PR, it’s not the artistic director of the MosSoviet Theater ?!

This is so that the enemies would not bother and did not incur additional costs for both parties, probably, it’s not so foolish to be more profitable.

        Read not here really
The secrecy of Korobov’s personality will almost certainly cause a sharp increase in GRU activity in the near future. The GRU is a special intelligence, it has a rule: while no one knows you, use it!
        Yeah, that's right.
And for an article on such a portal, it’s not enough

The secrecy of secrecy is different.
In Soviet times, many secrets were only for their own people. For example, the thickness of the armor of the T-55 tank, which was already in the Israeli army in the form of a trophy and was studied along and across. So there’s no point in overdoing it with secrecy. Not that case.

Well, not everything is so simple ... For example, Crimea is worth a lot ... There are still recently created MTRs ... but they are totally secret, you can only guess about their role and tasks ... Kosyakov has enough for everyone, for example, the transfer of the same special forces brigades from the GRU to the Ground Forces ... or the transfer of DSB from the Ground Forces to the Airborne Forces. Once the DSB is extremely necessary above all to the Ground Forces.

From Samara! 12.34. There are no questions about Crimea. The question is different. Russia is in the ring of partners. And these partners are not going to be our friends. At least Japan, at least moderate fighters, at least tolerant. It turns out that the opponents breed around us like rabbits. But to make friends of Russia, I do not see. Yes, and Medvedev said: We will not help anyone. Russia in the arms of partners is not dap-sighting or a cunning plan? Nobody is engaged in state security with us? Creating units is certainly good. The question is strategy. What and whom will they (units) protect? hi

I agree! But I don’t have to know. But the GRU refused the special forces, it’s information provided by the official media ... and the comments of the special forces themselves. From here we can see the GRU structure, which seems to have narrowed down to its destination before the SVR, in fact ... leaning more toward Strategic Intelligence ... God grant if I'm wrong ...
