46 Special operational team or four days in Chechnya
At the beginning of November, a delegation of the Moscow region visited the 46-th separate operational brigade (OBRON) with a patronage visit.
The delegation included representatives of 19-ti municipalities of the Moscow region and members of the All-Russian public organization of veterans "Combat Brotherhood".
The reason for the next meeting of the chefs from the Moscow region with the personnel of 46-th OBRON was the 11-th anniversary of the formation of the brigade.
1. From the very beginning of the emergence of this combat military unit, the brigade and its separate subunits took the patronage of the Moscow Region and the Combat Brotherhood.
In 2000, local battles were still taking place at the site of the current deployment of the brigade, near Grozny's Severny Airport. In the whole district, not a single structure was left suitable for living and accommodating personnel. Therefore, the fighters were stationed in army tents, carried out the assigned combat tasks and in parallel arranged their life. And at the same time, the governor of the Moscow region Boris Gromov, it was decided to provide patronage assistance 46 th OBRON.
2. Early in the morning of October 31 2011, 70 people of veterans, artists and journalists arrived at the military airfield to go to the Chechen Republic.

22. Lieutenant General Sergey Melikov, commander of the UGV (s) for the KTO in the TFR of the Russian Federation, is the first deputy commander of the North Caucasian regional command of the Interior Troops of the Russian Interior Ministry.
23. Over the 11 years of existence, more than 480 brigade servicemen have been awarded state and government awards for showing courage and heroism.

The second unit awarded by the “Order of Zhukov” for the events in 2008 in South Ossetia is the 10-I separate brigade of GRU special forces stationed in Krasnodar.
