The Russian schoolgirl, world record holder on the barbell bench press, Mariana Naumova, who has repeatedly visited hot spots with humanitarian missions, is now in Syria at the invitation of the country's first lady, reports RT.
Before this Mariana visited Donbass. For this visit, the Powerlifting Federation of Ukraine deprived the girl of all the titles and medals, and the SBU made it to the black list.
Naumova told why she decided to go to Syria: “For two years I wrote to President Bashar Assad, for two years I wanted to come here, to support the Syrian people. I was already in New Russia. I go to the children to communicate with them, to support them in such a difficult time. And finally, I'm here. "
“I was in the refugee camp. It was very interesting to talk with children, see how they live. We brought humanitarian aid, ”said Mariana.
She expressed the hope that this was not her last trip to Syria. “I really want the world to come to this ancient land,” the record holder added.
