The Vietnamese Navy replenished with two more submarines

23
On Saturday, a ceremony of adopting the next diesel-electric submarines of the 06361 project built at Admiralty Shipyards (St. Petersburg) under the contract from 2009 was held at the Vietnamese Camran base, the blog reports bmpd.

These submarines - Hải Phòng and Khánh Hòa - became the third and fourth in a series of 6 submarines, which the Russian Federation must deliver to Vietnam in 2016 g. The cost of the contract is about $ 2 billion.

Hai Phong (third boat) was laid in March 2012, launched in August 2013, arrived in Cam Ranh aboard the Dutch dock Rolldock Star in January 2015.

The fourth boat, Khanh Hoa, was laid in October 2012, launched in March 2014, delivered to Cam Ranh by the Dutch vessel Rolldock Storm 30 in July 2015.

The fifth and sixth submarines, laid down at the Admiralty Shipyards in 2013 and 2014, are under construction.

For the first time I hear about the production of X-35 under license. It seems to be produced only in Russia so far.

X-35EV is an export version of anti-ship missiles adapted to the operating conditions in Vietnam for the Uran-EV shipboard missile system, which is being carried out by KTRV Corporation in the interests of the Vietnamese Armed Forces
2010 Annual Report of the Tactical Missile Corporation Corporation Open Joint Stock Company

“In Vietnam, it is planned to create capacities for the production of missiles based on the Russian X-35 Uranus, similar to the Russian-Indian joint production of the BrahMos missile,” say Russian military industry. The peculiarity of this rocket is that it can be launched from any class of carriers: sea, land, aviation. And the homing head is not susceptible to electronic interference. The United States even wanted to buy it for its Harpoon cruise missiles.

If you do not take into account that the base is still CAMRAN, not Pocket (and whom does the author * pocket * want?), Then the message is definitely positive. By price / combat capability, 636.1 is perhaps the best diesel-electric submarine available today.
It strains another. Both Vietnam and China are our partners, but the Paracel Islands are a bone of contention between them, due to the huge reserves of hydrocarbons found on their shelf. China rejected Vietnam’s proposal for joint development of the shelf. Therefore, the SRV is strengthening its fleet with the measures available to it.

How tired of these "relatives"! We wrote off $ 30 billion, now we are again building on debt for $ 2 billion. And the Vietnamese "sidekicks" with the states are entering the Pacific Economic Trade Union. What is it like??????

Where does $ 30 billion come from? Vietnam owed the USSR $ 15,7 billion; in 2001, during a visit to Vietnam by V.V. Putil reduced this figure to $ 1,1 billion; since then Vietnam has been honestly paying Russia with natural resources and dollars. Vietnam is now trying to join the Pacific Economic Union, as it wants to break free from strong economic dependence on China. And from economic dependence to complete dependence - one step.

the photo in the material is like balm for the soul, so nostalgia sets in, these are the mooring berths of a separate submarine brigade of the Kamran naval base.
Here it is the native coast: moorings from top to bottom, on the second from below, the submarine is moored, and on the lower dry dock stands. Well, accordingly, sandy rocks at the very bottom, against which the first photo in the article was taken.

All this is good. Vietnam, after all, isn't fucking Indians. But the fact that the submarines are leaving Russia is very bad. As into the hands of "our beloved striped partners." The hope for ships with VNEUS is so illusory that our fleet may soon be completely left without a nuclear submarine. One chatter, then now it is close, and then again ... and a bounce for another couple of years. It is not necessary to pass off wishful thinking, but it is necessary to build many submarines, which are time-tested. Like those that are being built for the Black Sea Fleet. What about the other fleets? The Japanese naval forces are still silent, but they will move, it will not seem a little, and China is also a "pig in a poke".
