Quite a lot of equipment was modernized on the BTR-60 \ 70 platforms; BRDM-2. The work was mainly in the unification of the MTO, and for the BRDM and the suspension, with the BTR-80. The work was carried out in Arzamas, repair enterprises of the Ministry of Defense of Russia and Belarus. Obviously, this is one of these machines, experiencing a "second youth". I think this makes sense (for MP units) , because the BTR-60 has more buoyancy than 80s.
