"E2-E4" for Mikhailovka

Blue Line

Today it is somehow fashionable to look for the roots of your family. To be proud of your pedigree. But in this stories there is something more. Nothing to do with fashion.

- My brother and I decided to find out where the grandfather fought, - we pick up Irina from the Kostanay hotel, and the car heads for the Mendykarinskaya Mikhaylovka. - The fact is that we have never seen him, but my father managed to instill in us a love for him even from a distance. He was a military man, and we were born when he served in Ukraine. So, during the search, we found with my brother and relatives, and made so many discoveries for ourselves. I am now re-exploring with the example of my grandfather. For example, the Blue Line, in the breakthrough of which he participated. Little is said about her. But this is a complex system of German fortifications. She was kept by the fascists in the Caucasus. And the breakthrough of this line, the liberation of the Kuban, Crimea, Taman is considered one of the bloodiest battles of the Great Patriotic War. In total, there were only three such lines of defense during the Second World War: the Maginot Line in France, the Mannerheim Line in Finland, and the Blue Line in the Kuban.

The latter is two defensive lines, three deep lines of defense with a cascade of fortifications. Oh, and got the same grandfather ...

In her search, Irina found out that her grandfather, instead of two medals "For Courage", received one. Andrei Filatov was presented to two medals "For Courage" within two weeks. It so happened that, while the first was going, the second had arrived. And, apparently, someone thought it was a mistake, well, they gave one instead of two. Kostanay historian Arman Kozybayev helped a resident of St. Petersburg, Irina Filatova, shed light on this story. Inquiries have already been sent to the Ministry of Defense asking for a second award to be issued. Now the family has in their hands scanned copies of orders with an accurate description of both exploits of the mortar gunman Andrei Filatov:

"In the battles for the liberation of Kuban and Taman, he destroyed the enemy's car with ammunition, broke the dugout and destroyed the 13 of the Nazis." “Under the Moldavian farm under the artillery-mortar onslaught of the enemy, the fire of his mortar made it possible for the infantry to advance. Being on the defensive, he destroyed the Nazis' 30, a warehouse with ammunition and suppressed the fire of the enemy's mortar battery. ”

And this is a description of the feat for which Filatov received the Order of Glory of the II degree:

"January 15 1945 in the battles for the highway during the breakthrough of the strong German defense, when the enemy forced the infantry to heal, Filatov quickly moved forward, installed a mortar in 200 meters from the enemy and with accurate fire destroyed three enemy firing points and 10 German soldiers, thereby ensuring performance of a combat mission by a company. "

.

IRINA Filatova: “Here was the house of the grandfather. We decided that in its place life should boil ... "

Grandfather's house

But Andrei Filatov himself at first did not even know that he was presented for awards. And when he found out, he did not demand anything. Not before him. He was wounded more than once. But every time he rushed to the front. Once with his guys knocked the Nazis out of the dugout. Only settled down as a shell hit the dugout. He woke up Andrei Alekseevich under the bench. And very close to the German language. Either it was abandoned by his explosion under this shop, or he crawled in unconsciousness. So the wounded man spent almost 24 hours until ours returned. Survived. And suffered a second injury.

He experienced a breakthrough from the environment, when only 30 fighters remained from the unit. But there is still a blow - his wife died. And at home there are three small children. He was generally not an easy fate. The orphan grew up.

... Outside the window at this time appeared Bohr forest.

“I was here once,” said Irina. - Especially at dawn in a hurry to come. You have a magical sky here. And so I arrived last year to see where my grandfather lived. And in the place of his house ashes, overgrown with weeds.

After his death, the house burned down with all the photographs and documents. But I managed to find a photo in the family archives where the grandfather was after the war with his children. After all, he later married a second time, and there were seven children in the family. So, in the photo was one of his daughters, my aunt. In some jacket, look hunted, and barefoot ... I cried over this picture. She recalled how dad said that his grandfather was very worried that he, the winner, could not really feed his children, no matter how hard he tried. I asked Kazakhstani relatives to send me a photo of the place where the grandfather's house stood. Sent.

I look, and there the cows walk ...

Grandchildren

Now a few words about the grandchildren who built a playground in Mikhaylovka. Andrei Filatov (he was given a name in honor of his grandfather) - a member of the board of directors of the transport and infrastructure group N-Trans, president of the Russian Chess Federation, vice-president of the International Chess Federation. According to Wikipedia, the entrepreneur is also a co-owner of the private railway group Globaltrans, the beneficiary of Mostotrest and one of the shareholders of Transoil. According to Forbes, Filatov is in the hundred of the largest businessmen in Russia, in the world ranking on the 960 place.

His sister Irina Filatova has a real estate business. But in Russia it is more popular as the author of bright socially significant projects. She is successfully leading the Poetic Bible project to this day. And she has historical projects to perpetuate the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, and to popularize chess.

- Chess is our joint business with my brother. He was taught to play by our dad. I was pleasantly surprised that in Kostanay, chess is at a high level. Here the atmosphere for them, apparently, fertile. As for the project in memory of our grandfather, financially, of course, my brother supported me. He really wanted to come, but there were a lot of events in Moscow on 9 May. But in the summer he will be here. And maybe not one. Well, now you yourself will understand everything ...

Special order

As soon as we entered Mikhailovka, we were stunned. The spacious, bright, modern children's sports ground has now become a landmark here. The design used a chess theme. On the day we arrived, the work was already completed. And to try out the gift invited fourth-graders of the local school. It was an encouragement for the guys for the most touching performance at the Victory Day concert. They sang for us too. Right on the court. Under the accordion. From the heart. Even the passers-by stopped.

And then the kids helped to inflate the balls, hang the flags. In general, everyone helped. As relatives Filatov, and absolutely strangers. Irina, meanwhile, approached the site, which was laid by marble, next to the playground.

- Here was the grandfather's house. We decided that in its place life will boil. And they paid for this chess town (it took 4 million Russian rubles. - Comm. Ed.) Tomorrow we plant 70 trees next to it as a symbol of each year in the world.

We have a dream to open here and a chess club. Here we will bring Ilyumzhinov to a simul session in the open Mikhailovsky sky, and then we will decide, the Russian woman laughs.

The chess town was erected by builders from the Russian Kurgan, it was brought from St. Petersburg.

- To be honest, this is the most serious and unusual order for us, - the builder Oleg Belousov confessed, - we do not even have such sites in Kurgan, but here in the village ...

When the children frolicked on the swings, simulators, merry-go-rounds and slides, Oleg shot them on a mobile phone. Clearly pleased with the result of labor.

The local Akimat, having learned about the intentions of the Russians, allowed to expand the territory, because a third of the site would not fit on the site of Andrei Filatov’s house. The director of the local Vostok-1 LLP also spoke in favor of the expansion. Dzhambyl Amantaev and with the technique helped, and with sand. And now he promised to provide the site with lighting and security. He says, imbued with the act of the Russians, he decided to support.

- So it's great when you start, and people pick up, - Irina thanked all of Mikhailovs, - I think my grandfather would be glad ...

When the banners were hung, she sat down on the bench. And suddenly she raised her head. A single crane flew right over the landing and smoked. Irina smiled: a good omen. Although at first there were more than enough difficulties. Just imagine that she printed banners with St. George ribbons and grandfather's awards in Ukrainian Dnepropetrovsk, from where she came from, then carried through Odessa. He says people risked, but they helped. She left Ukraine when the Orange Revolution began. She says that she could not live in a country whose government began to be shy. But with many fellow countrymen maintains relations.

One of the girls who tried the site, leaving, told us:

“My little brother won't get out of here now.”

- Do you know, in honor of whom you made a gift?

“I know,” Regina Antonova answered. - In honor of the grandfather who fought for us when the war began in 1941. We 9 May always celebrate this victory. I love this holiday.

- Frontovikov almost gone. And we still celebrate - I notice provocatively.

“That's right,” said the schoolgirl. - They after all live in our heart ...

Irina and I have glittered eyes. Regina, remember, is in fourth grade. Grandfather Filatov would definitely be happy. At the site in honor of him is "Е2-Е4". This is the easiest first move in a chess game. And for the Filatovs - a symbol of the start of an important business, a white line, a decisive breakthrough. Russians sincerely hope that this will be the case in Kazakhstan’s Mikhailovka.

R.S. She arrived with huge suitcases. They thought that the lady of the capital brought outfits. It turned out that the suitcases were chock full of postcards with photographs of Mikhailov's front-line soldiers, brochures with poems on a military theme, sweets for local kids, those same banners and packages of balloons. On their opening day, 700 units soared into the sky. In honor of the 70 anniversary of the Victory. Against the background of examples when secured grandchildren with all the passion seek to rename the streets in honor of their grandfathers, the example of the Filatovs delights. They have perpetuated the memory of his grandfather, not by a requirement to honor, but by a good useful deed.

“I will give an example: what kind of person is she,” says Galina Lugovaya, a local relative of the Filatovs. - When she arrived for the first time, she decided to erect a monument to Grandma Masha. I came to our cemetery, and there the neighbor’s grave was completely abandoned. Ira began to find out who is buried there. They interviewed all the villagers. Rodney was not there, people just remembered that there was a woman by the name of Bokova. We come to Kostanay to order granite slab Baba Masha. Irina says: "Two such gravestones." I told her, two, why? And she is surprised: “What are we going to go to our well-groomed grave through someone else’s abandoned grave?” So she set it up. One - the grandmother. On the second it is written: “Bokov. Rest in peace…"

Such are the people. Thank God, they are.

Great event. Here are just a fence with "spears" on the playground somehow annoying))) We somehow put one in a neighboring kindergarten. It seems like a children's concentration camp. In order not to run away. I understand that, of course, no one had such thoughts, but I cannot get rid of associations.

Good news. So the liberals failed in the 90s. The people did not become obsessed, under the burden of "universal values". Let's break through.

Mental deed. Against the background of many negative news about the machinations of the United States and its feeding, such an article as a breath of fresh air. We take an example and by our small forces we will try to change the world for the better.
