Wow machine. The chassis looks like the 2C3 Acacia, only longer.

I wonder what will happen to her after getting from an RPG? I think so will explode so that they will be heard in Kamchatka.

But do not take it in battle formations to attack))))

He himself served on the UR-77, GMZ - a great car, copes with its tasks perfectly.

So it is not intended for laying mines under enemy fire. There is no armor there - bulletproof, and that is not a fact that will keep a small caliber. From the use in real combat conditions, I only know about the use of UR-77 during the assault on Grozny in the second campaign. it is much quicker than the GMZ (based on MTLB), flew up, spat in the intestine and fell down quickly))

The clearest example of how not to make barrages.

And do you think they should be based on tanks, and even with invoice armor? Each equipment has its own specifics, both in the reservation and in the places of its use.

    in places of its use

this is what makes the car unsuitable. I will list the first thing that came to mind:
because of the long base, laying mines on the ground is possible only at a very low speed, otherwise the mines simply roll away; it is not possible to fix the boundaries of the minefield in a combat situation (vehicles are used mainly in a mobile detachment of barriers, which puts barriers in the way of breaking through tank groups, and no one has canceled the requirement to draw up a minefield form; the machine, for combat mission, should be close from the battlefield, but completely unprepared to mask masked nets - there are too many sticking pens on the top surface, and in the rain, when the network is heavy, removing it is a big problem, and the standards for going to the mining line or reloading are very strict; for replenishment of the ammunition that is not fully used up, you need to unload the remaining one, then return the feeding system to its original position and load the remaining one again, and then a new one, and this takes time; loading cartridges with new mines is carried out by feeding one min (and not replacing the cartridges), which is very for a long time (since b / c - 208 minutes, each weighing about 7-10 kg); there are other claims.

As far as I understand, such a machine is used to create minefields not only in places of tank breakthroughs, but also in places of possible landing of amphibious assault forces (for example). And if in the process of mining the responsible person cannot outline the boundaries of mining, then his professionalism is a big question, as well as the ability in the subsequent drawing up of the form. In addition, such a machine is not the only model and method of mechanized mining. Well, but at the expense of disguise, it’s enough to use the poles of the required length, and not to throw a network on the machine itself. Most equipment has enough places for hooks.

The troops call "My green coffin! Because when a shell hits it with TM 62 mines, a mass grave and a small lake are formed on the spot! So to fight on it a complete ATAS .......... I know this for you. I say!

My green coffin - was called before. There is no need to fix the minefield, because this one-time miracle is unlikely to put it, except at the landfill.
