Canada refused to extradite to Russia the Nazi criminal who participated in the punitive operation in Khatyn

Once again, the status of a country that turns a blind eye to the crimes of Nazism and a country that voted in the UN against a resolution condemning the glorification of Nazism was confirmed by Canada. The authorities of the Maple Leaf Country refused to extradite Vladimir Katryuk, an accomplice of the Nazis, who took the most direct part in the Nazi punitive operation in Khatyn in March 1943. Katryuk (born 1921) was at that time an ordinary punitive unit that took part in the monstrous execution of the Khatyn civilian population.
Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia Alexander Zvyagintsev said RIA News that in respect of Katryuk, who lives in Canada, a criminal case was initiated in the Russian Federation. An official request for the extradition of the Nazi criminal Katryuk was sent to Ottawa. In this case, Canada, on the basis of international norms, should have acted on the principle of "judge or extradite" The Canadian authorities stated that Katruk has a Canadian passport, and therefore his extradition to Russia is impossible. In this case, judging the Nazi Canada, apparently, is also not going to. It violates all international criminal law regulations against Nazi criminals.
Today, Katryuk is the only living representative of the Nazi battalion 118, carrying out a hunt for partisans and punitive operations against civilians in the territory of the Byelorussian SSR.
