On April 7, the State Duma of the Russian Federation satisfied the submission of the General Prosecutor’s Office to initiate a criminal case against the State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev. Today is the source of the news agency Interfax said that a criminal case against a deputy in the United States was brought by part of Art. 5. 33 and h. 4 Art. 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - complicity in embezzlement on a large scale.
Recall that Ilya Ponomarev and several representatives of the Skolkovo Innovation Fund are suspected of embezzling funds. In his time, Ponomarev received an order from Skolkovo for some scientific work with reading lectures and preparing other "scientific" materials for a total of almost $ 750 thousand. At the time of reading "scientific lectures", Ponomarev did not even have higher education. In the summer of 2013, Ponomarev collected only a portion of the above amount.
For more than half a year, a State Duma deputy does not appear on the territory of the Russian Federation and does not appear in the workplace, while the salary for Ponomarev as a deputy representing the Novosibirsk region is still charged.
