In honor of the Independence Day of the Republic of Cyprus, on October 1, 2011, a military parade was held in Nicosia, in which Russian-made armored vehicles took part. In particular Tanks T-80U equipped with a modernized SLA with a Plissa gunner’s thermal imaging sight and BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles.
