At the summit in Indonesia demanded to reform the UN

At the Asia-Africa Summit, which opened in Jakarta, Indonesian President Joko Widodo announced the demand for summit participants to reform the United Nations. According to Widodo, the UN is no longer able to cope with new challenges in global geopolitics and the economy. Indonesian President quoted RIA News:
In my opinion, the global imbalance is becoming more and more suffocating. The opinion that the economic problems of the world can be solved exclusively by the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the Asian Development Bank has become obsolete. We must build a new world economic order that will be open to new emerging economic powers.
Country representatives (and delegations from more than fifty states arrived in Jakarta) agreed that the UN is no longer a platform that can resolve international conflicts. As an example, Yemen was mentioned, which the “coalition” led by Saudi Arabia began to bomb without any coordination in the United Nations.
The Jakarta Summit is dedicated to the 60 anniversary of the Bandung Conference, where the main anti-colonial aspects were formulated. The Russian delegation in Jakarta is headed by a representative of the Federation Council, Ilyas Umakhanov.
