Eurofighter offered India its aircraft instead of Rafale

54
The Eurofighter consortium, headquartered in the Federal Republic of Germany, is ready to supply India with its Typhoon aircraft in the event of failure to negotiate the acquisition of French Rafale fighter jets, reports MIC with reference to the German ambassador to India, Michael Steiner.

Eurofighter offered India its aircraft instead of Rafale

“The proposal remains in force,” said Steiner at a press conference, at the same time, adding that “Germany does not interfere in the defense procurement policy of India, which has the last word.”

The newspaper explains that “Rafale” together with “Typhoon” were included in the shortlist on the results of the first stage of the tender for the purchase of 2012 fighters in 126. In the end, India chose Rafali, but did not sign an agreement on them. Under the terms of the competition, 108 from 126 purchased machines must be assembled at the plants of the Indian corporation "Hindustan Aeronautics".

The Indians are waiting for the Russians in the era of the "crisis" to give away all the technologies of our aviation "for free", let the German typhoon experience it, ours now need OUR AVIATION and the clever bargaining of the Indians is not appropriate here!

The competition is big, and the Indians can choose anything. They have been unpredictable lately. They are interested in technology, rather than expensive purchased aircraft. With technology, they themselves will bake them like pancakes. wink

They are interested in technologies, they require them to sell, give rights to a licensed issue, here it is written constantly.
But ... just recently it was written here that they have problems with the licensed release of the T-90S ...
It turns out that the license is not all that is needed for the successful release of its products!

India needs European technologies, for the sake of which the whole batch itself, part of the equipment will be produced under license in the country + final assembly. And with us they are going to produce T-50.

India needs a machine with the possibility of production at domestic airlines. Eurofighter is assembled in parts at aircraft factories in four European countries (Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain). Imagine the hemorrhoids of logistics of such cooperative production ... I think India does not need this.

The same Germany, for example, will provide logistics to India, for example, it is a completely different matter that enterprises producing parts are actually under different jurisdictions and any country may well terminate the contract at its discretion, referring to domestic law.
        Although essentially India needs technology

It is necessary to send this India and sell planes to Pakistan as tanks, these Indians are already sickened by gathering from all over the world, do they really not understand that any equipment needs to be serviced and repaired, and for this it is necessary to have a stationary repair base. They are assembled for all types of weapons from from different countries to build factories, it is necessary to see how they are going to serve all this, and so they live in slums, and then they will live on the street, people live impoverished.

What's the point? Now the situation is such that even declare a new tender and write a new terms of reference for it, and terms of delivery ... Now the same players will enter again: Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Dasso Group, Sukhoi, and SAAB with Eurofighter ... And all this must be shoveled under Indian needs and standards ...

      What's the point?

It has long been lost among the Indians ... The absolute inability of the Indians to carry out even licensed production is simply amazing. The Chinese, even with stolen technologies (which need to be thought out and adapted to their capabilities), working under the conditions of sanctions, are already stepping into the 21st century ... and the Indians, having a huge (unlimited!) Choice in technology and types of weapons, are not able to independently create a fighter. ..
Having set the bar for localization of production, they are taking off all responsibility for quality for the company that provided its technologies in chewed form ...
      Shameful ...

Russia's proposal remains valid, the only question is that the Hindus want to snatch everything with this very attractive contract!
The aircraft themselves, their full production, production technology, everything from a to z!
It is clear that Europe shoves them its common cheap pill, Europe doesn’t care what to sell, what “Rafal” or “Typhoon”, one fig, compared to Mig, they are firewood!
Therefore, the Hindus and wait .... hope for a call from .... they need a MIG!
All other transactions will be only a fundamentally hopeless step ...
