VRU deputies decided to leave 9 on May, but added a new memorable date to it - 8 May

Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine were unable to reach a unified decision on the introduction of the memorable dates of 8 May into the Ukrainian calendar as a day of mourning and exclusion from this 9 calendar of May - Victory Day. As a result, the Verkhovna Rada "gave birth" to the document, which states that X-NUMX may be generously left on the calendar of holidays to the Independence Square, but X-NUMX may be added to it as a day of remembrance and reconciliation.
Now in Ukraine there is officially a new memorable date, which will be celebrated annually on May 8 - “the day of memory and reconciliation in honor of all the victims of the Second World War 1939-1945”.
If we consider that such an interpretation allows us to consider victims of the Second World War and such persons as, for example, Adolf Hitler or Paul Joseph Goebbels, then this is quite a suitable memorable date, taking into account who is at the top of the Ukrainian government. The persons already mentioned above would definitely applaud both this decision of the Ukrainian deputies and the genocide of the population, which the Ukrainian authorities had deployed in the Donbas.
In the document there is a note that Ukraine will protect all the monuments and memorials dedicated to the Second World War. Our readers are well aware of how today's Ukraine protects monuments and memorials.
