The Belarusian military are experiencing a new unmanned intelligence complex "Grief-1"
"While the troops delivered one complex of this type, but after the completion of military tests, the customer will receive several more complexes by the end of the year," he said. "Military Industrial Courier".
Pinigin noted that the military are testing the first Grif-1 complex of the installation batch of the 2015 shipments of the year, which consists of four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as well as several support vehicles.
UAV "Vulture-1" transmits video information at a distance of 100 kilometers at an altitude of 2.5-3 thousands of meters at a speed of 120-130 km / h. At the same time, according to the deputy director, the complex provides a relay function, which significantly increases the data transmission distance.
According to Pinigin, "according to calculations, the drone is able to be in the air for up to six hours, but this figure must be confirmed by military trials."
At present, the “Griff-1” UAVs are equipped with foreign-made power units, but in the future they plan to install a Belarusian engine, which, according to the deputy director, is “very intensive”.
