Ship dock "Sevastopol" is registered in the AIS

The onboard equipment of the second helicopter carrier Sevastopol under construction for the Russian Federation yesterday began to transmit a signal for the AIS (Automatic Identification System) identification system, it reports TASS.

Ship dock "Sevastopol" is registered in the AIS

The ship is identified in the system under the flag of France, its location is Saint-Nazaire, speed - 0, length - 199 m, width - 32 m.

Sevastopol was laid in June 2013, the stern was made at the Baltic Shipyard. Launched in November 2014. The inclusion of transmitting equipment indicates the readiness of the vessel for sea trials.

“The use of AIS equipment is compulsory for vessels with a displacement of more than 300 registered tons, operating international flights, and vessels with a displacement of more than 500 registered tons, which do not make such flights. All passenger vessels are equipped with it, ”the agency reports.

The AIS system in the VHF range transmits data group 4: identification information, information on the state of the vessel, geographic-time data on GPS, as well as information entered manually by the crew.

Well transmits what? No news? It is necessary that "Sevastopol" was in Sevastopol on the roadstead ...

If these ships are ever to be received, the best option would be the demonstrative organization of a floating brothel and the launch of world cruises around the world under the French flag. At the same time it will pay off.

And rename it "Bardak of Deception".

having hand drawings and all the necessary documentation on the Mistral, it’s easier for us to demand money from the French, of course with a forfeit, all the more we have every right to do this ... and build our own helicopter carriers for that money ....

It's not about the hardware, but about the electronics. Naturally, there is no documentation on combat control systems that allows them to be copied. That's just the question, but in the case of ship transfers, will our specialists be able to 100% identify all hypothetical bookmarks?

If Russia, after the collapse of the USSR for so many years, positioned itself as Zimbabwe, bowing to the West. What do you think, what will be the attitude towards her in the world?!? - Many thanks to EBN. Now Russia has finally begun to raise its head, and naturally to all those who considered it a kind of garbage in the garbage dump of history and political life (very happy about this), this process does not give pleasure at all. Hence the "international" (organized by us) sanctions, and Crimea and the events in Donbass are just a convenient excuse.

Suppose, if you file a lawsuit, then everything will go like clockwork?
That the "international" arbitration jugglers will not find grounds for reducing the amount of the claim, or will not refuse it at all after a couple of years of delays?

Paris for an indefinite period suspended the transfer of helicopter carriers to the Russian side, motivating its decision by the situation in Ukraine. Until now, the Vladivostok DVDKD remains at the pier in Saint-Nazaire.
N-yeah! ! 1.12 billion eureka however, somehow sorry for that kind of money. And if the war in Ukraine does not end another year, who will give us the Mistrals? Really, again through the court, well, nothing in this world does not change, again we got crooks! And on political crooks.

    Better, of course, money.
To paraphrase Lenin "to sue, sue and sue."
The most committed international court will sentence "Either money, or chairs." A paid contract cannot be sanctioned. And the retention of "Sevastopol" partially of Russian production, already from the area of purely arbitration, economic law, becomes a criminal offense. Put simply, piracy, the kidnapping of a Russian ship.
I suppose that nothing from the air defense from "Broadswords" to trifles, like that of "Caliber", should be installed there, but still joint R&D, starting with changing the dimensions of the decks for the Ka-52 + Ka-62 instead of the "Tigers" with "Dofenami", and ending with the mines of the aforementioned "Caliber", and so on. So + piracy on shoulder straps.
The fact is that Oland is shaking and giving. And the penalty will pay anyway. The priest of the Black Lord needs to be kissed.
If he were not an idiot, he would produce "joint products" with Russian missile defense systems and universal missile defense systems for anti-submarine torpedo missiles and anti-ship missiles with a range of up to 650 km.
Immediately from a floating coffin for landing, it turns into a serious strike unit, twice the price.
And so the Indians will rivet. Or the Egyptians. Russian update, possibly with "Onyx" and, at least - only "Polyment" in the bargain.
And suckers will only pay the penalty.

What's the point if no one gives it away anyway. Neither him nor money. I thought Minsk had even "bargained for" it. There was infa that they would transmit. But no. They will also add sanctions from the 16th. In general, with this order, as with all the previous policy, there is a complete setup. A sad analogy - they gave the sharper all the trump cards and sat down to play with him at their apartment. Watching how we are led with these miSRals like a donkey for a carrot, there is a strong temptation to learn something from Svidomo partners. Marshal Stouretkin is not sitting - let him lie in the trash can. Better with a broken head. So all dreams ...

it is thought that misralis is a rollback of Sarkozy for South Ossetia. Like, he reassured the Europeans, and we gave him a contract for 1,2 billion. There is no other legitimate explanation, only a criminal one, namely the state. treason, or betrayal of a stool. Otherwise, how to explain the discrepancy between price and quality. If the ships were named in honor of any bays or cliffs off the coast of the Belorussian Sea, then the French, as it were, would quickly give Russia away under pressure from the US State Department.
It is necessary for them to somehow show their influence in the world and not to face in the mud in order to confirm once again the truth of J. Psaki.

    Here are some news:

“A command to transfer Mistral can be given from the Champs Elysees at the beginning of next week, so that in the first half of March the ship was completely ready for transfer to the Russian side,” the agency’s source said.

In his opinion, the success of the Minsk meeting in the "Norman format" allows Paris to "save face before the allies" and at the same time "reaffirm the reputation of a reliable arms supplier."

Yes, it's a shame that they pull the cat for .... with the transfer of Mistral.
But this article is only about how power was supplied to the AIS transponder.
There is no such thing as REGISTRATION IN THE AIS SYSTEM - this is nonsense.
There is a display of working AISs in VTS or in all kinds of maritraffic.
Having a bit of knowledge and desire in 10 minutes, you can put the Mistral in Vladivostok (or on Red Square).
That's just from this the ship will not become ours.
