In Germany, a former teacher was court fined for painting a swastika on the wall of a municipality

A former primary school teacher in one of the comprehensive schools of Hesse (Germany), 52-year-old disabled person Ralph Bender was convicted by a local court for painting over a swastika image he saw on the wall of one of the administrative buildings. The Hessian court ordered the former teacher to pay a fine “for damage to municipal property”.
Edition "Russian Germany" reports that, moving in his wheelchair, Ralph Bender saw an image of a swastika and a xenophobic inscription on a municipal building. After that, he appealed to the local authorities so that they would react and remove the neo-Nazi symbols. A few days after the appeal of Ralph Bender, the swastika remained on the wall of the building. Then the former teacher simply took a spray can and painted over the swastika and the extremist appeals of the local Nazis.
Judge Bettin Kilian decided that the act of the former teacher was pulling a fine of about 1040 euros. At the same time, the judge stated that the court would not punish Ralph Bender, if he had not painted the swastika with paint, and either scraped it off the wall, or sealed it with a piece of white paper. Striking logic. Why, then, did the local municipality employees not bother to remove the swastika from the building in which they work?
This story made a lot of noise in Germany. Newspaper reporters Rhein zeitung reported that they opened a special account for receiving funds from those who decide to help the former teacher pay a fine, and also file a retaliatory claim against local municipal employees for supporting Nazism.
