The deepwater complex GVK-450 will begin to experience the spring 2015-th

Tests of the deepwater complex GVK-450, which is equipped with the vessel "Igor Belousov", will begin in the spring, the website reports Fleetprom.

Residential pressure chambers GVK-450

According to the plans of the Navy, the preparation of the first deep-sea divers and technicians for servicing the GVK should be completed by April next year.

“The basis of the deep-sea diving complex GVK-450 is 4 residential pressure chambers, diving bell and control post. The work of residential pressure chambers is provided by units of life support systems, gas distribution and storage. The blocks of the breathing mixture cleaning system, temperature and humidity control systems in the compartments ensure a comfortable and safe stay of divers in the pressure chambers, ”the site reports.

The article states that "GVK-450 is a complex multifunctional system designed to ensure the operation of 12 divers who are under working pressure and work in person 3 shifts at depths up to 450 m for the time required to complete the task." After completion of the work, divers will undergo decompression.

Another important task of the complex is the return to life of submariners evacuated from emergency submarines. The complex is designed to prevent tragedies like the one that happened to the crew of the Kursk.

The rescue vessel "Igor Belousov" (project 21300) was launched in 2012. According to the developers, it is intended "to rescue emergency submarine crews, as well as to supply air, electricity and rescue equipment to submarines and surface ships." The vessel's displacement is about 5 thousand tons, the maximum speed is 15 knots, cruising range is 3,5 thousand miles.

There was enough there. Rescue vessels are built for each series of boats, and in particular the 536 Kursk project worked. This was the case under the USSR, and this is what they do now. And "Kursk" neither this equipment, nor the available equipment would have helped in any way. "Kursk" did not suffer an accident, it had a CATASTROPHE.

For a long time it would have been necessary to have such a complex on our Navy, but, as they say, better late than never.

I was at sea in the 9 ball storm. No work can be done at sea, God forbid save the rescue ship itself from the storm.

Moreover, there was a storm at sea at that time. Even the Norwegians could not carry out the rescue work. Only when the sea calmed down.

Yes, this is a whole underwater station!

I hope that it will be followed by fully-fledged autonomous scientific depth stations.

There are no means of rescue of submariners on large hollows. This is not a solvable problem. And the only way is raising the boat to the surface. But this is a very long operation and only supplying people with air can save them. But nobody knows how to supply air at a depth through a sturdy case without flooding the compartment, otherwise everyone would have been saved a long time ago. We’ll wait and see what the designers have come up with about this.

The president, of course, well done, went to see relatives. Strong act.

      I wouldn’t be able to.

PS All that he talked about officers - everything is done. On increasing allowance, on improving the state of affairs in the army and navy.

Then in this 99% of the population saw boltology. But time passed ..

Lessons were learned from the destruction of the Kursk, and not only, because the submarines are in a hostile environment for humans, so this is a very, very necessary complex, it may not be alone. It is interesting to throw it over the air and use it from other ships ...

The complex is volatile, so it is tied to a carrier ship. There are emergency batteries, but they will not last long. So, alas, while such stations do not have sufficient autonomy. And the speed of the ship leaves much to be desired when the count goes to hours and minutes.

It is necessary to have such complexes in each fleet, so that you don’t spend time which is always so short in accidents.

With us, as always: "Horses, horses, take care!" This should become an indispensable condition for us and the Law - we are too few and everyone is dear (with the exception of liberals of various persuasions, it has long been a practice to work out betrayal on kichu)

But this is a breakthrough, there is no BREAKTHROUGH in the use and study of the bottom of our seas. and the fact that this complex will also save lives for many sailors of submariners is the certainty that the situation is not hopeless due to technical impracticability. but how much this complex will provide invaluable experience is not even possible to calculate.

You might think, fantasy, but no-reality !! Well done, and where it’s interesting, we are building this, I did not find in the article.

Kursk jerked so much that a lot of things jammed (including the rescue emergency buoy, not to mention the rescue capsule), these nuances will be taken into account when building new nuclear-powered ships. The source of information is not advertised. The Antey project is closed.

The complex is good, but for drilling at great depths. But saving people from submarines is extremely rare! Because the average depth of the ocean where they swim is 6 km.
A sunken boat with a crew cannot wait long for rescue. Without ventilation, hydrogen accumulates in the batteries and often explodes for 3-4 days, turning the compartment into a terrible place. and ABs are usually located in compartments where the majority of personnel are.
Here is a pop-up camera for all personnel - a very convenient thing! If the boat is crushed, the crew will be saved. And the crew simply does not have time to wait for the lifeguard vessel to munch to the scene of the accident from several days to several weeks! Oxygen is running out and compartments are gradually flooding! And the temperature at the bottom in summer and in winter is +5 degrees C. Not enough for affected people.
In short, to help emergency boats, this is thrown away money. So that later the dilettantes would not reproach the naval officers for not helping! As, by the way, it happened with the "Piece". There was no one to save there!

Well, let’s say there aren’t very many such depths in the World Ocean - according to scientists, the average depth is 3700 meters .. this, of course, is TOO too much for successful survival.
      I was delighted by another:
12 divers who are under working pressure and work in shifts of 3 people at depths up to 450 m for the time necessary to complete the task. "
That is, the guys will actually work in "open" water at a depth of half a kilometer! .. Maybe for some it is in the order of things - but I take off my hat to them hi

It turns out, as many boats, as many complexes are needed. Let them drift over the place where the nuclear submarine is on duty "unnoticed". Nobody needs such a "watch" for the sake of saving the nuclear submarine. Therefore, boat crews are victims of circumstances and hostilities. And everyone knows this and you have to put up with it and grieve when trouble occurs. Unfortunately, water is an aggressive environment for humans. Moreover, sharks eat all sailors in the sea if at least one has a scratch.
