303 deputy VRU voted to abolish the non-aligned status of Ukraine

Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, under the windows of which the thousands-strong protest rally takes place, decided not to trade for discussion of the economic situation of the country, and decided to cancel the non-aligned status of Ukraine. Of the 450 MPs, the 303 MP spoke out for the abolition of non-aligned status with the necessary minimum of 226 votes. This is the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. 8 parliamentarians voted against, 2 abstained, 56 did not vote, 81 MP was completely absent.

The draft law on Ukraine’s readiness to join one or another military bloc (of course, which one) was officially initiated by President Petro Poroshenko.
