The situation in the Russian education is a threat to national security
Even ordinary citizens of Russia understand that the situation is actually critical. According to a sociological survey conducted from 19 to 23 in August by the Levada Center, the current education system of the Russian Federation is like only 2% of respondents, and 45% of Russian citizens are not satisfied with the existing education system in the country. And the dynamics of the development of education in Russia does not make us happy - 37% of the survey participants considered that the quality of education in Russia has only deteriorated over the past year.
The list of the most important problems of the Russian education system in the first place is an increase in additional monetary expenditures on education (46% of respondents), in the second place - the lack of interest among pupils in the educational process (34%); and further on the list: the growth of drug addiction and crime at school (32%), disproportion of the growing additional costs and quality of education (30%), the groundlessness of the introduction of the Unified State Examination (27%).
About the Russian authorities, however, prefer not to notice the numerous signs of degradation of the once best education system on the planet and report on “achievements”. The “fraud” and the creation of “Potemkin villages” have become almost the main activity of the officials of the Ministry of Education. They are separate achievements, like the achievements of teachers of innovators, computerization, etc., presented as the successful development of the entire system. But in reality, education collapses just as it did in the 90- years of the 20 century and the beginning of the 21 century. There is a drop in the quality of teacher training, Soviet pensioners are leaving with high-quality fundamental education, and young people, mostly people who have not found themselves in other areas - more profitable, with a degradation of higher education. Yes, and children are not the same: the percentage of students with slower development and various mental disorders, oligophrenics, has risen sharply. Often in classes on 25 a person has only two or three completely healthy children. The rest have various chronic diseases: problems with the stomach, cardiovascular system, musculoskeletal system, many children with visual impairments, etc. Discipline has fallen sharply in schools, mate is a common thing, not only in high school, but also in secondary. This epidemic of smoking, debauchery. The situation is so terrible that “face to face” is not official, many teachers would be happy to restore corporal punishment, otherwise this wave of degradation simply cannot be stopped. The teacher is currently completely powerless. They only demand from him - high-quality education, upbringing of children (physical, labor, intellectual, spiritual), “innovation”, personal development, etc.
They are silent in the official media about the "optimization" of schools - they are closed by thousands. However, neither Andrei Fursenko, nor his deputy, Maxim Dulinov, reporting to the President of the Russian Federation about the readiness of schools for opening, did not say a word that in the 2011-2012 school year they would not continue working more than 1000 (!) Of Russian schools (these are the data of the Chief Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation Gennady Onishchenko, which he announced in mid-August of this year): they are closed forever during the "reform" of the education system in Russia. This sad list is almost 900 schools in rural areas. They are called "ungraded", because due to the reduction of the population, especially noticeable in rural areas, there are few children there and it is easier to transport them to schools in towns and cities. Well, of course, none of the officials of the Ministry of Education and Science reminded 1 of September that since the middle of 90's in the Russian Federation more than 20 thousand (!) Schools, mostly rural, have been closed. If the “optimization” of schools continues at such a pace, then the Ministry of Education and Science will soon have nothing to report on: by now, in the Russian Federation, according to their own data, there are about 47 thousand schools left.
Mass closure of schools throughout Russia is characteristic of Russian “reforms”, in which the basic point is “optimization”, that is, the closure of schools, kindergartens, libraries, museums, healthcare institutions, military units, etc.
The motive of economy is clear, but it affects other aspects of the life of the Russian hinterland. Closing schools, the authorities cause great harm to the entire rural settlement.
This year, the school will be dealt another “blow”: labor compensation according to the principle of per capita financing will be introduced everywhere. This system was introduced earlier in a number of regions, and teachers had a negative opinion about it. This is an extremely vicious principle of teacher remuneration. Competition is introduced between schools for students, between teachers, between school administrations and a team of teachers (the administration has become a kind of "warden", with a relatively high salary, completely mobilized into the ranks of "United Russia"). Such liberal schemes have never been good. In addition, rural schools will automatically lose to urban schools — they have fewer children and the teaching staff is weaker, i.e. they will become even “poorer”. This is an additional division of our society, already divided into “successful” and “losers”. The teachers in this system are “losers”, with a salary of 4-8 thousand rubles, any watermelon dealer from the market will laugh at them.
In addition to everything, teachers were simply “crushed” with endless papers, checks, “innovations”, “upgrades”, experiments and the struggle for survival. They simply have no time to simply talk with their children and engage in their direct responsibilities - to provide knowledge and test successes with high quality.
Another big problem that appeared in the USSR is the opinion that the failure of a child is the fault of the teacher, not of him or his parents. It is not profitable for teachers to worsen school performance, and even the most recent fool or malicious hooligan (who would have to serve time on correctional labor) will be given a certificate, “drawing triples”.
It is necessary to restore the system when the teacher can put real estimates, without regard to the administration. If a student cannot or does not want to study, he should be left for the second, third year. If he does not teach at all, it is necessary to exclude him from school (wipers are always needed). Such children decompose all the rest - they do not need to try, they will still put the top three.
Medvedev once again "pleased." The President of the Russian Federation announced a new initiative: the “leader of the nation” is going to offer Russian businessmen from the famous Forbes list, whose fortune exceeds 1 billion dollars, to conduct lessons on the topic “History life success. Maybe you need to change the subject to another: "How to steal millions and not get on the bench?"
