Poroshenko appointed head of the National Security and Defense Council Turchinov

Oleksandr Turchynov was appointed to the post of secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine - a man who, after the Maidan coup, served as President of Ukraine, and then before the special elections to the Rada was its speaker. The post of secretary of the National Security and Defense Council has been free for a long time, after Andrei Paruby was relieved of this post. Now, in fact, the castling took place: Turchinov - in the NSDC, Paruby - in the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada.
It is worth recalling that it was during Turchinov’s “presidency” that the civil war in Ukraine began, which Poroshenko decided to continue with double zeal. Now Poroshenko gives Turchinov the opportunity to prove himself as head of the National Security and Defense Council, not letting go far from power, apparently precisely because in the case of the “grandiose shukher” to be able to present Turchinov as one who was behind the decision to introduce troops in the Donbass and start a carnage.
Poroshenko reports on the new appointment of Turchinov on his Facebook page:
He appointed Alexander Turchinov secretary of the NSDC.
This personnel decision should show unity and internal trust in the pro-European political team, which has assumed responsibility for the country. Already today or tomorrow it is necessary to decide on the budget and defense budget items. The second task is to stop attempts to undermine the internal situation in the country. It is necessary to immediately put an end to political looting, when, under the guise of slogans and the name of Maidan, deft dealers solve their narrow political and business issues, destabilizing Ukraine.
