Libya before the war

14
Many of those who saw the post about Afghanistan 50-x-60-s of the XX century, before the revolution, the invasion of the Soviet and then American troops, could not believe that they could live like that in this country.
Now all news agencies write about the situation in Libya. From there comes conflicting information. Some transmit information about the final victory of the rebels, that they almost broke the resistance. Others write that Tripoli is almost repelled by the troops of Gaddafi. Now the news again broadcast about the victory of the opposition. At the same time, many can see that pogroms are going on in Tripoli. Even the opposition itself is talking about excessive looting. Even in the event of the final victory of the opposition, peace in Libya is unlikely to be established soon. Many predict that this will only be the beginning of an even larger-scale power struggle that will unfold between the opposition. Then Libya can easily claim the title of "African Afghanistan."
So let's look at the photos of more recently peaceful Libya. Perhaps in a couple of decades, they will cause the same disbelief and bewilderment as the old photos of Afghanistan are now.
All photos were taken in Libya from 2005 to 2009.

they say that Libya before the war was almost a fairy tale ... and now there are the deaths of children of women of civilians. Although I’m not a Muslim, I feel sorry for them.

And it’s right that it’s a pity, the point is not that the Muslims are sorry or not sorry. These are just different religions that happened once upon a time from one. Man always divides human pain.

This, as I understand it, should visually symbolize the beautiful life of the Libyans before the war?
And for the sake of diversity, at least one such picture from the Benghazi slums, why not insert it?

In all countries of the world, even with the most developed economy, there are similar slums.
Let's be equal in the slums - who has the dirtier ...

And why engage in cheap propaganda by posting "correct" pictures, like what kind of Libya she is? And the headline is like "everything is gone."
Libya what is developed? There is almost a single economy. Or rich?
A lot can be read about the mythical rich life in Libya, for example

You are a complete pessimist and absolutely see everything in every way, judging by your comments, not only to this note. I feel sorry for you, apparently you are still quite young, and life has become one for you. Solid gray ... And the thirst for truth has nothing to do with it.
