To at least one person in Ukraine, the anti-Russian rhetoric of “Square” in life has helped a lot. Ukrainian prosecutors remove charges of preparing an assassination attempt on Russian President Vladimir Putin from Adam Osmayev. Now Osmayev is charged with illegal manufacture and storage of explosives. Reports about it Interfax-Ukraine.
Osmayeva’s lawyer, Ms. Chertok, stated that her client’s charges were dropped on two counts: the creation and participation in a terrorist organization; preparation for the assassination attempt on a statesman.
Osmayev was detained in Odessa on February 4 of the year 2012. The detention took place a month after the explosion on Tiraspolskaya Street. In one of the houses the explosive device, which the attackers were preparing, worked. 26-year-old Ruslan Madaev (a citizen of the Russian Federation) died on the spot, 28-year-old Ilya Pyanzin from Kazakhstan was injured. In the course of further investigative actions, the Ukrainian security service officers found out that the criminal group was preparing an assassination attempt on the president of Russia.
Now the charges with Osmayev for the preparation of the assassination attempt have been dropped. Ukrainian media report one of the reasons: the civilian wife of Osmayev, Amin Okueva, is a representative of the punitive battalion "Kiev-2".
Anyway, today's Ukraine cannot afford to judge the person who prepared the assassination attempt on Vladimir Putin ...
