Ruselectronics enterprises have developed a new generation of the Uragan-N naval communication system
Omsk Scientific-Research Institute of Instrument Making and Omsk Production Enterprise Irtysh (included in the Ruselectronics holding of Rostec) have developed a new generation of the Uragan-N communication system. This device was developed in the framework of the implementation of the Federal target program of military shipbuilding to 2050 year and will allow to overcome the means of radio-electronic warfare (EW) of possible adversaries.
The new communication system is designed for use in military surface ships of various types. This complex will work even with plug systems turned on and in noise-resistant communication channels. At present, the Uragan-N communication system has passed state tests on a small anti-submarine ship. The act of state testing of a prototype of a new communication system was signed by the leaders of the Russian Navy 5 September 2014.
“ONIIP traditionally develops communication systems for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. They have a school of personnel, they have extensive experience in this area, ”said Andrey Zverev, General Director of Ruselectronics, OJSC.
ONIIP is the main developer of radio engineering complexes and special radio equipment for the needs of the Russian Navy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Federal Security Service of Russia, the Federal Security Service of Russia, the Emergencies Ministry of Russia, the Federal Customs Service of Russia and the Russian Ministry of Defense. It is planned to attract the Kozitsky plant, which is also part of the Ruselectronics holding of Rostec, to the production of a new communication system.
