Novelties from Russian Helicopters

41
As the "Independent Military Review", 22-24 in May at the Crocus Expo IEC will host the HeliRussia 2014 exhibition with the participation of the Russian helicopter-building holding Russian Helicopters, which will present the unique Mi-171А2 and Mi-38 helicopters, as well as other latest developments.

One of the main innovations of the Russian helicopter industry was the Mi-171-2 helicopter, equipped with new generation systems with enhanced functionality and a high level of safety.

In particular, he received a complex of onboard equipment KBO-17, which implements the principle of the so-called glass cabin. It consists of four liquid crystal displays, 6x8 inches in size, for the output of onboard systems and flight information. The central 15-inch monitor is used to display data from an external optical viewing system.

The Mi-171А2 is equipped with two VK-2500PS-03 engines, an X-shaped tail rotor and a transmission with composite blades. According to the company, all future modifications of the Mi-8 / 17 family will use innovative solutions embedded in the Mi-171А2.

In addition, a new multi-purpose helicopter Mi-38 with a progressive design and integrated architecture of onboard equipment will be presented.

“The first flight of the Mi-38 was a successful result of the joint work of Russian helicopter builders and engines. Mi-38 represents a new generation of technology capable of providing the highest level of safety and comfort standards. Thanks to TV7-117В engines, the potential of using the Mi-38 will significantly expand, which will become an additional competitive advantage and make the helicopter even more attractive in the eyes of our traditional and new customers, ”said Alexander Mikheev, General Director of Russian Helicopters.

It is worth noting that the holding is also engaged in other projects that will be available at the HeliRussia 2014 exhibition.

      Mi 38 or mi 171 ??
and most importantly what good helicopters turned out:

At the end of August 2012, at the World Helicopter Championships, the team at the Mil Helicopter Plant set three world records at once on the Mi-38 OP-2 in the E-1h class (FAI category) for helicopters with take-off weight from 10 to 000 kilograms. Our helicopter pilots climbed to a height of 20 meters without cargo, then to a height of three kilometers in six minutes, and then to a height of six kilometers in 000 minutes and 8620 seconds. Following this, in September last year, helicopter pilots from the Mil factory set two more records: a flight altitude record (10 meters) with a load of 52 kilograms and a flight altitude record (7895 meters) with a load of 1000 tons!

A helicopter capable of doing such things is just a beast, in a good way. MTV-cabinet without a load of 7000 does not always feel confident.

Not only Motor Sich. The Russian Federation also buys Pindostan engines - PW (pratt & whitney). Here they must be replaced first of all with domestic ones, along with Ukrainian ones.

Just not for India and China! Please produce first of all for your own country, and only then what remains is for export.

Russia must strengthen the expansion of its weapons. By increasing the sales of our weapons, the Russian defense industry will be able to afford, without looking back (the country's budget), to develop an advanced weapon for its army that is capable of guaranteed response to any challenges with minimal casualties. And in the end it’s jobs, replenishment of the budget, the prestige of the country as a superpower.

The greatest joy in our defense industry is still caused to me by our iskanderchiki. Hunchback at one time merged all short and medium range weapons. Yesterday, something soul was so sick for Mother Russia, let me think about the defense industry I'll see. Well, it turns out that one Satan with 10 real and 20 false warheads is enough to destroy three states, and their cueva is a cloud. Plus, the most powerful weapon after a nuclear one is the tornado system, it’s just heat, plus high-precision (accuracy 2 meters) - an iskander, plus the latest development - a vacuum bomb, I advise you to google it (though it’s not in service with weapons, information at least), the colossal power destroys everything living gas penetrates through the cracks, everything burns out and a vacuum is formed, the equipment is not seriously damaged. So ... the soul calmed down - went to bed calmly.

Check out this view of Boguslaev, please. (http://www.aex.ru/docs/3/2014/4/10/2015/). Read to the end. I assure you - you will not regret it.
General Designer and President of Motor Sich JSC Boguslaev is a Designer and Business Manager from God. Vyacheslav Aleksandrovich just rests "with all horns" against the severing of productive ties with Russia. Moreover, he still managed to break through the creation of an engineering center in Moscow for engine certification. What benefits this brings (and for Russia as well), I hope, there is no need to explain. We would like this in Russia for the post of President of the UEC (United Engine Building Campaign).
So another question is who will "backfire" in the event of a break in ties with Motor Sich. Such people should be protected and cherished, and not indulge in populist political slogans for the sake of "Hurray-patriotism." I don’t want to offend you and didn’t want to. I hope for your understanding of the essence of what I have said about Boguslaev. hi

I support when it comes to MS, for some reason no one said how good a supplier they are (up to a direct order, they fulfill a contract) for the whole time ...
In general, Boguslaev and Kiva up to the last advocated for the preservation of communications. For which the second was fired .. in general, if they had their will, they would teleport both factories and people and the whole complex in general .. although this is not only the factory in Zaporozhye or Aviant of Kiev and Kharkov ..
The key to all the crappy politics in KIEV ... But Kharkov and Zaporozhye suffer just the most ...

The helicopter issue in the Russian Federation is very relevant. Especially with regard to civil aviation. I would very much like to have more small devices in my market, 1-4 local, reliable and not expensive, our own production. There will be a demand, especially since in recent years it has been simplified to obtain the appropriate license for the management of aircraft, and it became not so difficult to arrange a flight.
