According to the information agency "Vesti", during a conversation with the mayor of Donetsk, Alexander Lukyachenko, the governor of the Donetsk region, Sergei Taruta, confirmed that supporters of the federalization of Ukraine had seized the building of the Kirovsky district council of Donetsk.
ITAR-TASS notes that a masked man, who hoisted the flag of the Donetsk People's Republic on the flagpole, broke through to the building around 200. The invaders did not make any demands.
It is worth noting that April 30 supporters of federalization seized the buildings of the district police department and the City Council of Gorlovka, and April 29 occupied the buildings of the prosecutor’s office, the regional council and the regional department of the Interior Ministry in Lugansk.
RIA News" notes that the press service of the Donetsk Regional State Administration has published a message about the resignation of the heads of the Kiev and Leninsky district departments of the Donetsk City Administration of the State Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine due to the “improper fulfillment of law enforcement duties” during rallies held in Donetsk.
On Monday, in Donetsk, clashes occurred between pro-Ukrainian activists and supporters of federalization during which 13 people suffered.
