The site, on which the water park is located, was in the bank pledge in the amount of about 20 million dollars since the 2008 year. Thus, the authors of the program are confident that the fraud took place not without the support of the Lviv Regional Administrative Court and the local BTI.
The journalists also reminded that the previous owner of the water complex was Motor City LLC, and the bank affected by the scam is a bank with foreign capital. However, so far no claims to Gutnik have been filed by the bank.

“The person who gains control over the GTS will become the most influential in Ukraine, and there will be no leverage on him. But you need to understand that a businessman can easily gain such weight that he will cease to be a partner and will start creating Russia some problems. Apparently, he does not recognize any interests other than his own benefit, ”says Mikhail Delyagin, director of the Institute for the Problems of Globalization.
However, the danger of Firtash for Russia is connected not only with the possible monopolization of the Ukrainian gas industry in his hands. The riots and rallies that have been going on for the third month and rallies of the Ukrainian opposition on the Maidan also do not go without Firtash’s direct participation. In the meantime, the American side was contemplating such an “arrogant” proposal of the Ukrainian “patriots of honor”, “svobodovtsy” in the regional council of Ivano-Frankivsk refused to support voting for permission to develop shale gas.
At the same time, the media writes that Chevron specifically demanded $ 450 million for permission to work in the western regions of Ukraine, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the Svoboda party Igor Krivetsky, who heads the so-called Economic Council of the Svoboda party.
And at the same time, it is obvious that Krivetsky simply could not demand a bribe from Chevron, without having received the permission of his “political boss” Tyagnibok. Thus, a completely obvious version is creeping in, that Tyagnibok could count on a “reversal” from these $ 450 million, which Krivetsky demanded from Chevron!
