Special Forces of Belarus. The Belarusian authorities decided that the country needed more special forces, as a result, it was decided to increase the ranks of this honorary unit. In the near future, an additional special police unit will be created on the territory of the Minsk region.
The additional division will be based not far from the Belarusian capital - the city of Minsk, in Machulishchi. This area is not accidentally chosen for the deployment of a serious police resource, there is a necessary base here, which is well suited for a serious training process. Until 2002, a special squad of riot police was based in Machulishchi, but was later disbanded.
The service in the power structures of Belarus is considered to be very honorable in the country; special forces officers have a number of tangible privileges in comparison with civilians. For example, they have personal insurance, 45-day vacation, which, by the way, is very well paid, can use preferential loans and receive compensation for renting housing. Belarusian security forces retire when they turn 45 years old. Those who wish can get a higher legal education in Belarusian and Russian higher educational institutions completely free of charge.
